How to Get Hashi's Diagnosis with Out-of-Date MDs??

Nancie & All,

If I gave the impression my endos deny there is such a thing as Hashis--or

aren't familiar with it--that was certainly not my intent.

They just say it's not relevant or necessary to treat me for that, and

thus--presumably--a waste of time to test and diagnose me.

My internist has done a couple of adrenal tests--one at 9:40 (which I believe

should have started at 8am, but was delayed because of delays by staff), and the

other involving collecting urine for 24 hours. No clear indication from these,

one way or t'other.

Is there anything recommending either of these tests, or both, in " main- stream "

protocols or texts that I can use with these bimbos? What argu- ments can I

use? (BTW, I'm on Medicare with disability at the moment, and can't afford to go

to non-traditional providers unless it's covered by Mcare.)

Seems to me I saw on a package insert for Levoxyl a while back that patients

should be tested for one or both of these before starting that med (and

logically, other hypothyroid meds)...

Thanks,
