I had that in two places, it was just the stitches (probably the knot)

trying to get out. Now this is gross, but I was able to pull one out

myself, it was really small, the other one I took to the Doc and she pulled

it out. It is better if you get them out now or you will have a little dot

there for a long time. Any doctor can pull those out if you are nervous

about touching it.

Like you, I worried about and favored my nipples for a few months until the

incisions were completely healed. I did not want to lose them!!!! I think

it's natural to worry about the most delicate part of your body besides____.

Relax, your nips will be fine

Did anyone else feel like something else was wrong with them besides

the implants. I have this fear of cancer or something horrible. I

know I shouldn't think negative but when you've been sick for so long

what else can you think. All my blood work was fine except the

epstein barr. I should be going to get my MRI and EEG this week. I

have 2 doctors appointments to, to see about a explant. I hope and

pray thats all this is.

Hi,

I am sorry to hear of your story, and the hard position you are in now. It is a situation so many women find themselves in after believing their plastic surgeons and being led down a rosy path only to discover that the rosy path leads into a dungeon of sickness and financial distress.

There is no easy answer for this, except to find a doctor that you can work with, who will perform the explant properly, and maybe allow you to either finance the explant or make payments over time. Others borrow money from family or friends, and still others wait until they battle it out with their insurance companies. Some are stuck with the implants inside their bodies with no hope of being able to afford their removal. This is a serious injustice that needs to be addressed by those in the medical field and our lawmakers.

How long have you had the saline implants?

I hope we can offer you some encouragement as you go through this fatigue, illness and stressful situation. There is one attorney according to our group member e who is taking on implant cases in a class action in Colorado. You may be able to make contact there since you are familiar with Denver.

Let us know what other help you need.

Patty

Hi ,

Don't worry about your surgery, with Kolb you will be in good hands.

I was in the hospital for most of the day, (signing in, prep, etc.) The

surgery lasted 4 hours, and I was home in the afternoon. They let me go

almost right away after I woke up and recovered from the anesthesia.

You will do fine. Dr. Kolb will be able to answer all your questions. She

is really great.
