- I more than gag on Citrucell - I have pains in my intestines and

they hurt! So I tried Benefiber and I had a 'real " bowel movement that day!

So, I am waiting with baited breath to see if Dr. R. will okay the Benefiber

because it seems to be better for me. in Seattle

, I agree. If you call the 800 # for the company, they will forward

samples/coupons. The guar gum is from the cluster bean. I forwarded all the

information I could find to Dr. R. It's up to him and Dana now to decide.

Fingers and toes and lose skin crossed!

Will someone be sure and post what Dr. R says about it? Is it something you

mix with water, like Citrucell? Never heard of it and missed some posts

about it, I'm sure.

Thanks,

Dear ,

Benefiber, sold at any pharmacy or Wal-mart, K-Mart is 100% guar gum. It

dissolves instantly in any liquid. I give the recommended dose according to

her age...she's 13 so I give her an adult dose...at the first signs of

constipation and it really works. Other things I have used are Kondremul, an

emulsified mineral oil that doesn't promote dependency or leach out

important minerals from the body that regular mineral oil does.

Question for

HI , when it comes to a problem like this I would get in touch with

someone on staff with Dr. Rutledge's group. They are available to you and will

be more than happy to help you sort it out. We're all different and what

works for one won't always work for the group.

Give them a call. Some things just aren't good to guess about.

,

I know Dr. R had rather we take the liquid Citrucel but he will allow the

pill form.

It just takes several pills twice a day to do the same thing. It works. I

can't do the

liquid and have been on the pill form since shortly after surgery.

Hi ,

No, it's not. This is from Bee's message #68463, it will answer your question

more thoroughly:

" There is a lot of false information about what is healthy for

us, as we all have discovered. Fiber actually impairs digestion and cause a lot

of damage - see these articles about carbs and fibres:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu3_2.php

I hope that helps,

jackie
