> What happened to that list member that was too embarrassed to go to SplashTown? Did she quit the list? I don't remember her name. I think that was me! I lost 106 lbs, gained about 30 back, but still feel way better about myself in a bathing suit. I bought a Lands End size 16 suit with a built in under wire bra, and I boldly walked through a hotel rec room to the hot tub. I am planning a trip to wet and wild with the kids this summer. Hopefully, I will have lost the rest of the 30 I gained!

Have fun with your sister, and I hope Vonn feels better soon.

It was a lady here on the north side of Houston. I checked the archives and

it was Govers. I guess she's long gone.

You go girl! That sounds great. Land's End has such nice stuff. For you

girls that aren't a scrawny size 16 :) check out the suits at

www.Junonia.com. Pricey but nice quality.

Oh, that sucks! We've been so lucky throughout the years that the only

doctor we lost because of that was a dentist none of us were too happy

with, anyway. This is the last year Henry will be on our insurance

(ACK!) and luckily his pulmonary doc has been a participating provider

all these years.

>I'm afraid this is going to kill plans for our trip to Dallas this weekend.

Sniff. Sniff.

Kids are resilient and fast healers. See what she's like Friday before

canceling.

> Maybe I'll just leave the kids with and escape for a weekend

alone with my sister. Ahhhh..... I could really go for that.

But would *he* after the overnighter last weekend?

>need to go work on the master bedroom. It is a disaster.

I've spent half the morning trying to order some microprocessor tool

kit from the one and only place the professor will allow it to be

ordered from (Special order, so he's probably getting a kick-back), and

the other half scrubbing the bathroom because the radiator has a leak

and the landlord is coming up after work to see what he can do. With my

neck thing since late December, that bathroom hasn't gotten more than a

cursory wipe, just enough to keep the board of health out of here. Now

that entire room *shines* floor to ceiling. I've never seen my shower

tiles sparkle so brightly! I'll pay for it later - I already took the

heating pad out and plugged it in by the bed for later when the neck

starts throbbing again.

> I'd like to fit my

treadmill time in now too since it's hard to fit it in in the evenings.

I *was* going to start exercising again, but yesterday I spent a lot of

time shopping for extra-heavy duty clothes & thermal underwear for

my poor freezing guys (You try standing on a subway platform in -2

windchill!) and in the afternoon I was battling low blood sugar and

high blood pressure. I dunno *what* happened there, but it better not

happen again!

> I haven't put everything in Fit Day yet but I have a

good idea of what I'll have today.

I already popped my beans & veggies into the crockpot so I'm all

set. I *know* the landlord is coming just at the time I usually start

getting dinner ready.

>think I'll go hop on the treadmill and then have a nice lunch of a sandwich

and cream of celery soup.

I just checked the clock and see I have plenty of time before I get

invaded (He's bringing his new wife with him, too. Argh!) so perhaps I,

too, can do some real exercise, not just all that scrubbing. Let's see

if my water pill lets me have a half hour of peace. :-[

> The problem is that a can of Cambell's soup has about 250

calories.

And a boat-load of salt. I take a can of unsalted tomatoes, mix it with

water, add some spices, then take my blender stick and give it a whirl.

I add a little rice milk to thin it down and make it "cream of" soup,

heat it, and slurp.

> You can't beat the childhood comfort of 's on a

cold day. :)

(sigh) I do miss it. There's nothing in the world like s Tomato

soup.

>What happened to that list member that was too embarrassed to go to Splash

Town? Did she quit the list? I don't remember her name.

I'm lucky I remember my own name some days. Sorry I can't help you

there.

Oh, well, nature calls so I must answer.

Sometimes those guys *can* do the right thing, even if we don't want them

to. :)

Glad to see things came out alright in the end.

Today will be day six of freedom from Sugar, Breads, fruits, milks. The coconut

oil is filling me up during those hunger periods, so that does work well. I'm

really beginning to hate the smell of it though and I've barely just begun.

Today I will be up to 5T of coconut oil. My joints are not aching as bad.

Throughout this week I have gotten really sharp pains mostly in my legs but

sometimes anywhere. Tomorrow I will be up to 6T coconut oil and am wondering

what to add in as far as supplements. How to begin the supplement routine?

Also when does a person know that they are healed?

Hi beth,

Good for you for being from sugar and carbs! I'm surprised you are able to take

so much coconut oil so quickly. Most people can't go from zero to 5Tbsps. in a

week! Are you not having any die-off?

You should be taking all the supplements as soon as you can get them. They are

a very important part of the program. Here is the list of Bee's recommended

supplements:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/supp7.php

It's good to take them with foods, so I split up the doses and take them with

breakfast and dinner.

A person knows they are healed when they have been on the diet for their

required number of months, they feel really good, and have not suffered from any

symptoms for at least a month.

Be really careful though. You're not supposed to get on the diet this fast. It

usually takes about a month to get fully on the diet. Otherwise you may

overwhelm the body. Faster is not better. You have to read the " Getting

Started " article before going ahead. This may be why your legs hurt. Also,

don't eat coconut oil on it's own without protein as the fat will turn into

glucose too fast on it's own if eaten without protein. It's not a good snack.

Sauerkraut is ok to snack on between meals on it's own, but preferably no

snacking in between meals.

+++Hi beth. I'm impressed how determined you are, however you are changing

over to the diet and increasing your coconut oil way too fast. Once you are

taking all of the supplements, which work together with the diet and coconut

oil, you will experience a lot of die-off so please do slow down. Ensure you

follow Curing Candida, How to Get Started:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php

It takes 1 month of natural healing for every year you've been unhealthy, which

for most people nowadays is since before they were born. So if you are 40 years

old you need to be on the program 40+ months before your body is healed.

beth I just wanted to let you know that when I started the diet I was too

impatient and started it (day 1) with 6 tbs CO (I had already been on

anticandida diet for 3 months and I had already taken other antifungals -but not

the ones that Bee suggests).

I started it on Friday, and by Monday I found my self in bed with tonsilitis,

sinusitis, high fever and vomiting (ALL these are die off reactions.)Back then I

didn't know that, so I went to the doctor and OF COURSE he gave me antibiotics

cause " Sinusitis will never go away unless you take antibiotics " (ignrorant

doctors...)

so there I was, taking another round of antibiotics, and starting all over again

with even more toxins than before.

Bee and and all the group kept telling me not to go too fast to 6tbs and

I didn't listen to them, cause I was ok for the first 3 days. I know that all

these may sound over protective to you right now, but pls be careful. YOu are

pushing your self too much. I must admit that I thought die off is a game, and

that people who can't handle it are not trying enough.... I've reached the goal

of 6tbs in 3 months, not because I was too sensitive and couldn't handle some

die off, but because even when I was increasing my CO too slow my die off was

extremely hard and no one could handle vomiting and having high fever 24/7.Die

off some times really makes you fell like you are the one that is dying.

anyway I thought it may be helpful to share with you my experience. I hope you

get healthy really soon.

forgot to tell you that my die off started when I started taking all the

supplements (I think you mention that you haven't done this yet). Bee explained

to me that this happens cause when your body is stronger, it has more ability to

heal itself and that means die off. so be extra careful when you start taking

all of your supplements.
