Guest guest
Hi

Boy are you lucky to not have started side effects! I'm sooo jealous! When I started on combo last year, in my first few hours I started getting side effects! Over six months I dropped 25 lbs, lost some hair and boy was I tired all the time! Could it be that you haven't had any effects becaue of your physical attributes? ie weight? height? previous health issues? As for me I'm a small thing at 5'3, 110 lbs. Anyways, good luck with combo. We are all pulling for you!

Guest guest
Two weeks is not enough time to see how Lexapro works for you. Did your doctor suggest two weeks? Then what? I also take Xanax when needed, but of course that just makes me more tired. Hopefully these next few weeks the kinks will get worked out! Guest guest
Hello! I am glad to be here after searching for many years for answers to candida. I started on the plan about 2 weeks ago and am trying to fine tune it. I have a few fairly urgent questions; will post more later. 1. I suspect that I have reactions even to good vegetables. Is is possible to do an all meat, egg, and good fat diet? I do want to try the 9 day detox when I have more time to focus. I use the egg drink every day and enjoy it; perhaps I could live on that for awhile! 2. Along with the above, I am suspicious of lemon. Can I make the electrolyte drink without it? 3. My naturopath wants me to use a progesterone cream and take DHEA pills. Now that I have studied the website I am reluctant to do so. I am very low in progesterone and other hormones and am trying to find a way of functioning at my job without coffee and other stimulants to keep me going. I am post-menopausal (63). I currently use armour thyroid. I am taking the suggested supplements. Thanks for any suggestions. Gwen
Guest guest
Hi, I'm starting the 3rd month of my pregnancy with 2 previous miscarriages last year(I also have two healthy girls before that). I was wondering if it was safe to start this diet during pregnancy especially with my history and if it would be helpful. Currently I'm seeing an accupunturist and taking some herbs, probiotics, pre-natal and when I can remember some cod liver oil. The only food I seem to be able to digest without feeling symptoms is chicken broth so far. Otherwise practically after every meal especially in involves gluten or some carbs, my neck starts feeling really tight, then my eyes feel heavy and then I slowly feel aches around my wrists, top of my hands along with my feet and they can spread all over if it gets worse causing complete fatigue. In conjunction but not always my feet get extremely cold so much so that they hurt. In the past, these symptoms have been labeled as fibromyalgia and hypo-thyroid. What do you think all these symptoms mean and would the diet address them keeping in mind my pregnant context. Thanks. peace, sana
