To all the ladies on Saline Support, whether you live in Nevada or not:

It appears that we have a tentative date of August 26th at 3:30 PM at the Grant Sawyer Office Building, 555 E. Washington Avenue, Las Vegas, for those who want to give live testimony for the video conferencing portion of the Assembly hearing that will be held in Carson City.

I would like to encourage ALL of you, (this includes from all 50 states and in other countries), who have had problems with your saline implants or any other type of implant to write me your story personally, IF YOU ARE NOT PLANNING ON GOING TO THIS MEETING so that I can take it with me and turn them over to the State Legislators. I talked to Caroline Bromm, trying to find the points of contact for all of you, and this is what she suggested. The alternative would be for you to write your story and mail it to these key people who are part of the committee. Of course, the best possible scenario is that all of you show up! Include in your letter a basic "picture" of your life before implants, and your life after implants. This would include your basic health prior to implants, your age, the type of implant, and all of the symptoms you have suffered after receiving implants. If you have had blood tests, state the abnormalities. State whether or not you are explanted, and if financial considerations prevent you from getting explanted. Add any comments you may wish about your whole experience.

As I said this before, this is your window of opportunity if you want someone to hear your voice....take full advantage of it, because these opportunities do not come very often.
