Guest guest
Nope - no emu oil. I've always wanted to buy some but didn't want to part with the money yet. But since I got a call from my VESID rep yesterday telling me I'm all set up to start "shopping" I'm sure I'll be ordering some. First on my list of priorities right now though is some large standing cabinets to get some of the crap off my workbench and my new scale which I'm searching for as we speak. Speaking of scales, I noticed on a few sites that some of the scales are called "Legal For Trade" which means for people that sell to consumers. If I understand the explaination of what that means, don't we HAVE to have a "Legal for Trade" scale since all our products are sold by weight most of the time? I'd like to be sure of this before I purchase because it seems they are a little pricier but supposed to be VERY ACCURATE especially with temperature change and things that they explained on a site I read. Lips do you have any emu oil? you can put that stright on your lips too. Or mix some with a little lavender which is healing. That would be ok for you lips. Guest guest
Bee, I backed off the supplements and electrolyte drink (which was really helping me!) because my lips were really struggling with constant blistering/pain and peeling. I have tried to reintroduce the electrolyte drink and supplements and my lips are feeling (constantly) irritated again! I will try the CLO on my lips tonight. The oil of oregano might have been too strong, and the natural coconut oil chapstick didn't work. Bee--I am only on one tbsp. of cod liver oil but I am trying to ease into two. I had two weeks straight of diarrhea and thought it might be that, but now I am thinking it could have been the magnesium... Thanks for your help. I think the healing process is going to be a lot more challenging than working on the diet. Amy > +++Hi Amy. Toxins can come out through your lips too, and particularly lipstick, lip balms, core sore remedies, etc. that you previously applied to your lips. > > Are you taking enough vitamins A, D & omega 3 (cod liver oil, and also vitamin E, vitamin C and B vitamins? > No, the electrolyte drink won't cause those symptoms except indirectly because it helps your body detoxify. > > Try cod liver oil on your lips. > > Bee >
Guest guest
If the itching and peeling on my lips is detoxification, is there anything specific I could adjust in my diet or supplements to slow it down to not be so strong/irritating? Seasalt? Coconut oil? Codliver Oil? Thanks, Amy

Then I tried oil of oregano to stop the burning and it helped, but my lips started peeling and burning even more. Rubbing coconut oil on them brought relief but dried them out. > > I was wondering if there could be some corrolation to drinking the electrolyte drink--too much salt, or too much citrus? Should I try cutting back on one or the other to ease into this, or is this just healing/retracing and deal with it? > > Thanks, > Amy > +++ Wow! Today I have a spot on my lip that is driving me crazy too. And, I'm not even officially on the diet yet. Been dry and itchy and tight. Feels weird. Can't really see anything . Was trying coconut oil and also homemaade lemonade.
Guest guest
Hi Amy, I put cod liver oil on my lips. It seems to soothe them, but they still cover over with tight white skin so that I have to peel it off. I think it might just be one of those things you will just have to go through while you heal. > > If the itching and peeling on my lips is detoxification, is there anything specific I could adjust in my diet or supplements to slow it down to not be so strong/irritating? > Seasalt? The spot on your lip is toxins coming out, so it isn't a bad thing. But it isn't comfortable, especially since it is on your lips. Nothing on this program causes it, except that this program causes die-off/detoxifying symptoms which are part of the healing process. Like someone else recommended apply cod liver oil to your lip. Don't apply lemonade to it. All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Hi Amy, I can COMPLETELY relate to what you are saying. I have been dealing with my lips burning, painful, then itchy and peeling and cracking too. It is REALLY uncomfortable and awful I know. What I have been able to figure out for myself is I get a flareup when I have something my body doesn't like. For instance, if I have something in a restaurant that I " think " is ok, but I find out the hard way it has some form of sugar or preservative or something. Also, I discovered this past week that I can't even handle Stevia right now. I made some almond zucchini bread (which I love) with stevia and I had a huge lip flareup again. My lips seem to be a " radar " for things I shouldn't have. Like I had chicken sausages that I thought were ok and they must not be cause I got a big flareup. It seems to correlate with it irritating my digestive system. It takes me 1-2 weeks after a flare up now (providing my diet stays " clean " ) for my lips to get back to mostly normal again. It is frustrating and painful, but it just takes time for our digestion to improve and heal. I just know now that I can't " cheat " at all!! Keep going...it WILL get better!
