I'm not Donna but curious about your opinion on fermented cod liver

+++Hi . Thanks for the link. I would not recommend that

product since it contains omega 6 & 9 (which are totally unnecessary to

take), and they do not list the amounts of DHA, EPA, and vitamin A, D,

and K. I wouldn't waste my money on this product, and instead stick to

the tried and true cod liver oils I recommend, which are unfermented.

how/logistics of it ... but that said they are having a hell of a sale

right now. Such that depending on what you are ordering the benefit of a

group order is not necessary. The unflavored (add your own flavor if you

need it) is only $26 now and the other FCLO is $32 which I believe lower

priced than the normal 12 bottle discount break regardless of order

quantity. Now if you want the butter oil blend. coconut oil, etc that

stuff is not on sale right now and a group order for that would help.

I would be all over a significant amount of Cod livers. I've been trying to

source them directly for quite a while to the point that I called the fishing

bureau in Norway (actually that was for ratfish, but cod is the next best

thing!)

I've looked high and low but not able to find anyone selling fresh or frozen,

whole cod livers.

How often do you go for Cod? Where do you fish for them?

Matt, your idea is splendid. Please do bring back the livers for us! We can

just add that to our appreciation for all you do.

My favorite way to prepare salmon bellies is to use a somewhat gentler heat

(350F). I spread them on enamel pans (the bottom part of oven roasting pans)

that have a light coating of expeller pressed coconut oil or lard, etc. to help

prevent sticking. Sprinkle with Herbamare and garlic powder, bake for about

half an hour or so, and then sprinkle a little extra sea salt when they come

out. They really don't need anything else, but I used my lacto-fermented mayo

as a dipping sauce and boy was that fan-tas-tic!
