Hi ,

Thanks for letting me know the CR4YT books are for secretors! The next thing I

want is to order the test kit to learn my secretor status. With all the

alcoholism in my family tree I will be real surprised if I am a secretor.

I bought some beef today. It's the first time in many , many years.Probably 15

or more. I never ate much beef no wonder I am always tired. It must be almost a

month since my last pepsi and other than my testing myself wheat the same amount

of time.

I bought a used ER4YT and I still have the library edition. In the one beer is

ok for O's and the other NOT! Also oat bran in one it's ok .Have you noticed

this and I am wondering how many other things are different! They are both the

same edition 1996 , but the library copy is a more recent one. I didn't see any

thing like " new changes " or anything about an update.

I also bought a used LR4YT at Amazon..it said it was an ex-library edition for

$5.99 + media shipping. It's a brand new 2001 book. The cover and book are New!

The place that sold them had 3 at that price...

Cheers ,

Joyce

If you have any questions on food and wanting to know

the differences as some of the books say yes, and

others say no....go to Dr D's website www.dadamo.com,

and find the Type3Base link at the top of the page, it

is also in the middle too....all these food values for

each blood type are updated and current.

Dawn ,

Thank you! I appreciate your it. I have lots of questions & I sent for the

secretor test- I can't wait to find out. I also took the personality test while

I was there. I can see now that I will spend hours reading through that

information.:)

I am still fairly new at this too.....7 weeks in, and

15 pounds less. I fall off every now and then, as I am

juggling several things right now and am not as

viligant as I was a few weeks ago. Once I get the new

employee settled in, and the kids back on track with

their school work, I will concentrate much more on my

diet. Right now I eat right, but have not started

exercising which I know will take the weight off me

with a quickness. One day at a time.

If you don't know ask.....I do. Cause honestly there

is so much I don't know.

Dawn ,

I am really new to this about 4 weeks . My DH also is very interested in this

now. He said it's the first " diet " book that he wants to read and follow!I

suffer when I fall off of it . I have noticed that I do not have to get up

during the night to wiz . In the morning it is a long steady flow rather than

stop and start! I have never experienced this before. I have always had an

irritable bladder..I didn't realize it could be food related! I am so happy

about this. All this time I thought it was normal for me!

It was the corn for sure...I have been testing everything especially my favorite

foods that I don't want to give up. But I am sick and tired of always feeling

sick and tired. I am thrilled with the results. I gave up wheat & then re-tried

it , but had stomach cramps. I only stopped corn 2 weeks ago and yippee! No pun

intended. (lol)

I feel so much better I actually sleep right through the night except for when I

had popcorn over the weekend. I also lost 7 pounds!

My DH also is very interested in this now. He said it's the first " diet " book

that he wants to read and follow!

Joyce,

My husband told me last night, he is on the diet for

good. I suspect he is a NS, and so I told him no

grains. Fish, and veggies for him...he has to lose 40

pounds in a month. He is in the military and has to

meet height weight requirements. I am hoping he

actually sits down and reads all the books ......I

bought them all. LOL

Corn is bad.....and lord have mercy it is in

EVERYTHING. My new employee has started this diet also

(she is an O too), she brought in some minute maid

fruit punch to drink.....I said " you should not drink

this it is made with corn syrup " Corn syrup is in in

everything, or so it seems. I can not even find a

brand of cranberry juice that doesn't not contain

other juices or corn syrup. Terrible terrible......

Congrats on your success.....this really works.

Dawn ,

My husband has been trying to lose weight for years. He runs 6 days a week and

really pushes himself

he also counts calories so he is intrigued that it may be the wheat etc..We were

on practically a vegetarian diet. I bought some Ezekiel bread & he loves it. I

have been staying away from all grain. I know he has a thyroid problem his temp

is usually 95 I thought it was higher , but he said it isn't. Thyroid problems

run in his family. His TSH came back normal..

About corn my Gram noticed over 5 years ago she would get a spasm of her entire

intestinal tract and the weird thing was I got it the same year ! We wondered if

they started using a different pesticide spray or a new hybrid that we were both

reacting to. I still wonder about that.

GNC had the concentrate. I drink it mixed with water when I have bladder spasms.

Which I hope are a thing of the past. :)

We were far from vegetarian.........I hold to the top

of the food chain theory. LOL

We did have a lot of wheat and grains in our diet,

those are gone now. The kids eat Ezekial bread, so

that is a GO, and it is staying. When I get some time

I will be able to bake some bread, with appropriate

grains for the other family members.

My husband runs.....every other day or so, he has to

pass a physical test of push ups, sit ups, and a timed

run. He always passes even when heavy. He has very

little will power, if there are snacks and treats in

the house he will devour them. I have to take the kids

out for a treat if they want one. I know his weakness

and try to help him out as much as possible by not

tempting him with goodies.

Wheat is out......in everything. We do not eat it. And

ya know, no one really misses it either.

I am just three months into the program but wanted to encourage those " newbies "

that are waffling to follow Bee's guidelines and Neal's humerous advice to " stay

the course " . The stricter I am with my diet and " maintenance " (dry skin

brushing, epsom salt baths, coffee enemas, oil pulling, etc.) the more amazing I

feel.

Today I woke with energy, vibrancy and clarity--what is that like?! It might

just be one day, but it makes three months of strict eating worth it! Each day

I find a bit more energy to make it through the day, play a little more with my

kids, stay awake long enough to read them bedtime stories, etc. Today I felt up

to swimming with them in the pool, and even have energy to take them to an

amusement park this evening (without napping!). This just isn't " me " , or the

" me " I unfortunately have been the last several years.

This health plan is re-introducing LIFE. Is there any food that is more

important than LIVING life with all it's richness? A spin on an old phrase:

Nothing tastes as good as HEALTHY feels.

Make it your mantra!

Thanks to Bee and the support of this forum for answering the questions and

lifting all of those in time of need. We are growing healthier together, and it

feels REALLY good! I anticipate 3 strict years on the diet and never thought

after just three months I could feel the improvements I have!

Hi Amy

Yeah Yeah Yeah. Sure. Are you trying to tell the world that you are healthier,

stronger, have more energy and enjoy life way more just because you have

consumed that goofy food? Ha! You are a food Nazi, (love this one) and are

trying to control you and everyone around you with your bland, tasteless food

and you are doing it so the enemy foreign government can swoop in and control us

more. Then this government pays you and sends you to a cool place and gives you

things. You and those like you take all fun out of life by restricting our god

given right to eat what we want and be as sick as we want. I and those like me

have worked hard for years to obtain these big stomachs and various diseases and

we don't want you or anyone else to stand in our way. You and those like you,

(and fortunately your numbers are dwindling) actually believe that just sitting

still and enjoying your improved senses and the flow of that sick blood through

your clogged arteries is more fun than hanging our at s and listening to

loud music, eating seven hamburgers with extra bread, 2 bowls of pasta washed

down with some expensive designer beer and practicing my pickup skills of that

member of the opposite sex.

Now I have to go so I can make my 3 doctor appointments, yell at my children,

kick the cat and have a couple of junky meals and then I am going to come back

and tell you off some more.

" Nothing tastes as good as HEALTHY feels " I like that and congrats on your

progress and I am quessing you have even more to go so stay the course. You

might not know this yet but you are doing a great thing for your children.

If anyone is interested what I'm doing this morning, I am going to flow some

coffee in the back door, have grass fed beef with tomato, onion and spices with

a side order of shallots and avocado and lime juice, (fresh squeezed)of course.

Then I will demo and build some more house and in my spare time try to find the

2 new turkey chicks I got yesterday. Sorry for the long post.

Neal AKA the venter.
