Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My son had his surgery May 5th (T-2-T-12). Hi back seems fine but on his front he has one breast higher and larger than the other( his left side) and right below his ribs on his right side, to the side of his stomach, is a larger thickening than on the other side. His chest x-ray came out normal. Has anyone ever heard of this happening. The doctor said when the spine is shifted other parts of the body shift such as the intestines, etc. It is more how it looks than effecting him in any way but I don't think it should be this way , was never told of this possibility and don't think this is right. From: Patti <pattijohnson@...> Subject: Re: RE: New to List Scoliosis Treatment Date: Wednesday, June 11, 2008, 1:51 AM and , You are in my prayers and you struggle with this enormous decision and set of circumstances as severe as I have ever heard. I am fused from T-4 to Sacrum, but have none of the other issues you describe. My curvature was 94 degrees, now corrected to 59 degrees. Not much correction, but at least gave me a chance at having a future without lung complications. You are a very brave mother to make this decision. Recovery is tough in the beginning and he will require a lot of care. I hope you have someone strong helping taking care of you. There are lots of folks on this list who will help keep your spirts up, so let us know how it's going, and know that we will be praying for a good outcome. Patti RE: New to List Hi, we're new to the list and unfortunately I've only had a chance to read a little of what others have been going through with your own scoliosis issues. Because of that, I won't expect a lot of feedback on our problems but I believe it will at least help us if I write it down. My 20 year old son is scheduled to have the spinal fusion surgery on August 27th. His will be from T4 to the sacrum. His tail bone is also protruding, causing him much pain but they may or may not deal with that at the same time. His main problems however do not lie with his scoliosis. He has severe respiratory difficulties on an ongoing basis, he has a trach and is on a ventilator at night. He is mentally deficient and non verbal. G-tube fed, visually impaired and is spastic. He's on a number of medications, including baclofen, muscle relaxant, etc. He has 90 degree curvature. I have nursing care for my son but recently one of the caregivers told me that if he dies that I shouldn't cry because I made the decision for the surgery. The surgeon believes the surgery is indicated. I feel we are in a real catch 22. During the recovery process, I am so afraid that he will run into severe respiratory problems trying to clear his lungs of secretions and develop pneumonia, which he is very prone to do on a normal basis. Thank you for letting us air our issues. Best wishes to all of you who are going through your own issues in dealing with scoliosis. Guest guest
Antibodies from vaccines are made to last in the body by using an adjunct (or a chemical or adgent to drive the immune system crazy.) Most vaccines (if not all) use aluminium. The aluminium makes the body go crazy and send to immune system into overdrive. This keeps the virus (like polio, chicken pox, mmr...) active so that if the body comes across the REAL virus, the body will attack the virus before it makes you sick. The reason that you have to get revaccinated with tetnus ans pertusus is because they do not last long. MMR you now get 2 and chicken pox you may have to get every 5 years or so for the rest of your life to keep you " immune. " I'm not sure about the question about receiving 3 tetnus shots during pregnancy. In the US we do not receive these. I do know now that they are encouraging new parents to recive the pertusus vaccine to protect their babies. The only way to pass immunity onto you baby is if you have had the actual disease and this only last for a short time. After that time, the baby is suseptable again. Hope that helps! andrea in Kansas > > Hello again and thank you all for giving me so much mind fodder to > chew on! Guest guest
Actually disease deaths in India are declining, but so is vaccination use. In fact, the more the vaccination coverage decreases, the more infant mortality rate does too. More people are moving out of villages and into cities where they have access to basic medical care and are able to deliver babies in more sanitary conditions. Plus, what is happening to India? It's economy is growing like crazy. This means more money, better sanitation, food, less crowded living spaces, etc. Same as the history of the U.S. Plus, I'm not sure of the answer here, but you have to ask...disease related deaths have decreased, but have other cause deaths increase (like vaccine related deaths or SIDS?) Also, autism is one of the fastest growing conditions in India, what kind of help are these children able to get there? Guest guest
Hello Deepali, I am so sorry to say that this may provide an answer re 3 unnecessary tetanus jabs during pregnancy. http://www.freepatentsonline.com/5324512.html Title: [Gln']-luteinizing hormone releasing hormone conjugate of tetanus vaccine and its uses Document Type and Number: United States Patent 5324512 Abstract: The present prevention provides an effective, fast acting method of vaccination useful in suppressing gonadotropic hormone release. The vaccine utilizes LHRH conjugated at its amino terminus to a protein carrier and can be mixed with either adjuvants or detergents in order to provide an effect vaccine. It has happened to the Akha women in nthn Thailand, to women in the ines, also Nigeria, Mexico and Taiwan, I believe. Probably a lot more places - it's just that the hormones haven't been suspected or detected yet! I'm still checking on that. http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2003/jan/03013003.html I'm hunting for the info re antibodies and will post it when I've found what I'm looking for. Meantime, Sheri posted info recently on why having antibodies does not confer immunity. Have a look through the recent posts, during the last month I think. Guest guest
Thank you very much Vida and for your replies. I am afraid Vida but I don't think vaccinations are becoming less in India because I notice this trend among most of the newbie parents to rush to the docs for each and everything. Even in small villages, poor, innocent parents take their kids for vaxing but I guess they don't stick with the protocol the way the urban parents do. So I know that autism is increasing in India but I also think that disease-related deaths are coming down. I guess like Vida said it can be due to the fact that people are getting richer and able to have access to better lifestyle. Maracuja, thank you for those links. I had read about the 'tainted tetanus jab' some months back but I had totally forgotten about it. I am really scared now. I know I got three shots when I was pregnant with DD. I am not sure why would they still allow these shots if they know for a fact that it can cause abortions! I am not comfortable at all now. I don't know who I can trust now. It's getting increasily scary out there. Is this the new population control tactic?? Guest guest
You can't know for sure that the disease rate is going down. You can only know what you're being told by the media. Guest guest
My thinking about the baby and nursing was if the milk was going to inhibit any progress. Sounds like he would be fine. I was also wondering that if I don't feel anything from the 100mg of Niacin, if i need to take more, or is this good. I could not find 50mg. And since it is capsule, I have to take all 100 at once. I woke up again today with that hypoglycemic like symptoms. I got all white, and had the " walls closing in, " but weathered it out until I got some scrambled eggs made. (One of my kids made them for me). Is this ketosis again? Is that reoccuring? Did I not eat enough the day before? I did have diarreah. I'll have you know...I have been tolerating the egg drink again. yeah! Thanks, le

No, breastmilk won't inhibit progress. > > I was also wondering that if I don't feel anything from the 100mg of Niacin, if i need to take more, or is this good. I could not find 50mg. It takes some people a long time to get a niacin flush, but eventually it does happen, so don't increase it. > > I woke up again today with that hypoglycemic like symptoms. Did I not eat enough the day before? I did have diarreah. +++It's all part of the healing processes your body needs to go through in order to heal itself. Often people mistake their symptoms as being hypoglycemic but detoxifying/die-off symptoms are similar. You couldn't be hypoglycemic on this program anyway since you aren't having sugars/carbs that cause hypoglycemia. Don't be concerned about whether your symptoms are caused by ketosis or die-off or detoxifying, etc. since they are all part of the natural healing processes, which is the opposite of the " dis-ease " process where your body is breaking down. +++If you think you didn't eat enough yesterday, eat more today. Diarrhea is a way for the body to get rid of toxins, so it is also a die-off symptom. > > I'll have you know...I have been tolerating the egg drink again. yeah! +++Good for you! Niacin flushes are mainly because of radiation coming out through the skin, but it is also flushing out other toxins as well, even if you don't get a flush, but it may not be as obvious as radiation. +++You may increase your niacin very very slowly if you wish. If you don't get a flush for 5 days in a row at a certain dose, increase it by 25 mg a day, and so on. Taking over 400 mg of niacin per day requires all other supplements be increased too, so I don't recommend doing that. There is another program that gradually increase niacin to high levels, but it also means sweating out in the sauna, running, etc. - it's called the Hubbard Purification Program, which would be wise to do after you are healthy. Guest guest
It's a relief to know about the hypoglycemic thing. I do think I just need to eat more. I wake up STARVING. I have 5 kids, and in the afternoon I do alot of running around and food gets put on the back burner. I usually bring a pepper with me to snack on. I bought some of those veggies to try and make snack chips out of. Well...I got that Niacin flush yesterday. It was kind of weird. I looked sunburned. = ) It was then that I figured I may have needed a few days for it to happen. I checked my blood pressure yesterday. I usually check it on the ones in the store, and have been pretty accurate. When I checked it, it was 87/58. My blood pressure when I was " normal " was usually 90's - 100's over 60's - 70's. It was higher when my thyroid was messed up - 117/80s. So, I was wondering if th ie 87/58 is a normal range when being on this diet, or was it because of the Niacin flush? As for the baby, do we take the same approach with the anti-fungals? I have taken his refined sugars away, and started with the little bits of coconut oil, and the cod liver oil, but do I wait to start the rubs on the feet until I get the rest of the sugars and carbs out of his diet? le
Guest guest
Hi le, I don't know if you saw that Bee is out of town and away from a computer until Sunday so she won't be answering questions. If you are starving, you should definitely eat more, just try to keep up your fats as much as you can so you keep the proper ratios. Niacin flushes are a little weird until you get used to them. You won't have flushes every time you take it. Some days you'll get a major flush and other days you may not notice anything at all. That's normal. Remember that your body will be in a constant state of flux on this program as it tries to correct yourself. If you are feeling okay, you probably don't need to worry too much about your blood pressure. Babies and children should follow Bee's program the same way adults do. That means that you take out all of the sugars ( & no-no foods) as you gradually increase their dose of coconut oil until you reach the maximum dosage for children before adding a second antifungal (like rubbing the feet with oil of oregano or garlic). Remember that babies can also have die-off and retracing, so keep an eye out for that. Have you read this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/baby.php I hope that helps to clarify. > <snip> > > As for the baby, do we take the same approach with the anti-fungals? No, that isn't a normal range for this program, and it wasn't caused by niacin either. You can't depend upon blood pressure unless you take it a few times a day and over a period of time so you can get an average. Ensure you are getting enough good ocean sea salt which helps low blood pressure. Bee

So what would be normal on this diet? I will try drinking more of the Electolyte drink. I have not been doing a lot of this, but started a little more this weekend because I was reading that you said it would help ward of some cravings. Since I have Carlson Cod Liver Oil, I should be taking a Vitamin A (Retinol) Supplement? So how much of Carlson's should I be taking plus A? So, when I get a new bottle (Garden of Life), I will not need an A supplement? Thanks for your awesome help! There is no normal blood pressure on this diet, since each person's body needs to go through the healing process completely in order for all functioning to normalize. Therefore, whatever your body needs to create happens, including fluctuating blood pressure as required. +++Remember " more is not better " so also don't do " lots " of the ocean sea salt or anything else - just take doses recommended. > > Since I have Carlson Cod Liver Oil, I should be taking a Vitamin A (Retinol) Supplement?
