Hi Bee

I am in Australia and I've similar symptoms to pljammie

( /message/65233;_ylc=X3oDMTJzZHZ0cmx\

with a skin problem affecting my left hand, feet and scrotal area

which the dermatologists despite numerous biopsies and skin cultures

have been unable to diagnose, they put it down to Lichen Simplex

Chronicus.

It seems that the problem with my eyes reoccur at about this time

every year with a corresponding eruption in the lower regions

(itchiness, peeling and soreness). The only thing that seems to work

there is Kenacomb ointment. For my eyes the optometrist has suggested

the hot compresses as suggested in your article with saline wash out.

I am convinced that along with other symptoms that I've had a systemic

candidal infection for years which has gone undiagnosed and the reason

I am writing to you is because when I saw my GP yesterday, I had an

incredibly hard time to convince him to prescribe Nilstat capsules

(nystatin). His main objection being that it would have very harmful

effect on my liver as well him as not feeling competent to give an

expert advice. In your experience are you aware of any such side

effects as I have not found anything to support this on the product

information sites on the net.

Thank you and kind regards

potain

+++Hi Potain. Welcome to our group. It is very evident you have

candida overgrowth and have probably had it a very long time, since

all of your symptoms are related to it.

+++Nystatin doesn't affect the liver since it doesn't get absorbed

past the digestive tract. However, I don't believe it is as good as

natural antifungals. Also it is tricky to buy the correct nystatin

since they started adding sugar to it, so make sure about that.

It is much more important that you start on unrefined coconut oil as

your first antifungal since it also provides so many other health

benefits, along with the diet and all of the other supplements.

Also, antifungals aren't going to cure candida, since it is not cured

by " killing it off. " The only way to cure candida is by building up

the immune system. So please ensure you read these articles very

thoroughly: How to Successfully Overcome Candida and Curing Candida,
