I think

I heard that mucous indicated inflammation. Please can someone else comment on

this as I’m not too sure.

mucous in stool

Hi All, Our lads

still! has bowel problems. Although this has improved

in the last 2 weeks. He is pooing every day formedish sometimes very

formed but has has mucous in his stool. Any ideas what this could be

we are very close to going to see Dr Krigsman although this was really

my last alternative. He is having a barium xray in January 3rd. Still

treating bacteria and yeast. Sodium picolsulphate removed the

impaction and we have reduced this to 1 ml as night from 5 and are

going to taper this off and hopefully he might keep going on the

enzymes and mag and vit c. We had green mucous today. Die off? or bile?

thanks

For us SCdiet really helped with mucus, ds had loads and loads before we

went on the diet. then had some periodic 'appearances' after we started

the diet, but has dissappeared completely with LDN and other

interventions. as Sara said could be the general inflammation in the

gut, even more likely some specific things (fats? of some sort?) that

are not getting digested.

are you giving a range of enzymes, to 'cover all bases'?

diet might be worth a try before going to drK, if you are not on it

already, and giving a wide spectrum of enzymes. I would also try giving

a teaspoon or two of fresh lemon juice with meals to help digestion.

Hi Dave

We had green poo's a while back. said it was to do with the bile

flow, sorry I cant get any more technical than that. She suggested a

supplement called Cynara . gets 3 drops x2 a day. It says

artichoke on the bottle . May be worth asking her about it next time

you speak? 's poos are far from normal but they aint green any

Hi ,

Hate to be be an idiot here if you've already tried this but probiotics sorted out my son's green acrid loose stools within a matter of weeks. It is possible that my son has bacterial infection as he is on meds that can cause that. I used Klaire Therbiotics, BioKult and AFP enzymes and within a week 2 years of green caustic sulfuric poos cleared up. If he gets really sick his poos go green or yellow again but mostly they are very dark green/brownish.

doesn't digest fats and this could also be the cause of some green poos - Muscroft has started him on Lipozyme for very elevated tricglyceride levels.

don't know if any of that helps, all the best to you,

Darla

Does anyone else use antibiotics for this purposeand on a long term basis. Any advice here would be welcomed too!thanks, emily (mum to 12yr Norman)

Hi Dave,

Have a look here, point 16 'Mucous in Stool', this might explain

better than me what i think is going on with your lad.

http://www.enzymestuff.com/rtstools.htm

Also dont try and drop off the sodium pico too quickly, it can take

several months for the bowel to return to its normal shape IMHO.

Hi,

Quick comment here. My experience with 12yr son has been very green

stools, no formation (very runny), some mucous as well. He is on the

ketogenic diet but still before he was on a high fat diet, his stools

were green! Recently got him on a course of erythromycin prescribed by

GP as he was not very well and experiencing an increase in his seizures.

Anyway, after the antibiotics, we started antifungal (amphotericin B)

and I don't know whether it was the antibiotic or the antifungal but his

stools changed completely to a browny yellow and the toxic smell was

gone.

We saw gastroenterologist at Great Ormond St and mentioned this and

their opinion was that a green toxic stool is indicative of bacterial

infection, particularly as it changed during the use of erythromicin.

Presently stools are back to green (so it did not last long!),

gastroenterologist recommends to keep him on a very low dose of

antibiotics on long term, but I'm also not sure if antibiotics are the

best option here. Does anyone else use antibiotics for this purpose

and on a long term basis. Any advice here would be welcomed too!

thanks,

Hi Gloria,

Bee does not recommend cleanses because they are really hard on the body and

candida sufferers are already have a depressed immune system to begin with.

Here's an article explaining it further:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/clean1.php

In any event, your body will produce mucous in order to get rid of toxins. It's

much better to eat foods and 'good' fats that will simultaneously build up the

immune system and help to get rid of toxins in a more gentler way. You can't

rush the healing process.

+++Hi Gloria. gave you a very good reply, but I want to make sure

you've read the main articles that describe the program this group is based

upon, which are How to Successfully Overcome Candida, and Curing Candida, How to

Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/candida/index.php

If you read those articles you'll understand what you need to do and why you

don't do cleanses nor any other treatments, or take other supplements, except as

recommended.

You only cure candida by building up the immune system with mainly " proper

nutrients " so cleanses will just make you sicker, without helping to build up

your immune system. This program also cleanses the entire body, and even gets

rid of heavy metals, so how much more can you ask for.
