Hello

I'm Lawrence, 's husband.

I never used to eat breakfast, and often would forget to eat for most

of the day until I got a headache which reminded me to eat! I am now

having one of the following for breakfast:

1. egg drink (like most men, I do not read instructions, so don't

know how this compares to Bee's):

blended in blender:

about 50 g butter

25-30 g cocounut oil

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla

1-2 tsp instant coffee, decaffinated without using chemicals/ swiss

water process

a dash of stevia

2-3 eggs

about 750 ml boiling water.

2. 1 egg + ground reindeer or beef or moose fried in coconut oil,

with added butter & coconut oil served on a thin bed of B-yeast

flakes.

3. 2 eggs fried in cocounut oil or butter, with additional melted

butter served on a thin bed of b-yeast flakes.

Sometime I made the egg drink, have a bit with a fried egg, and then

save the egg drink for lunch (in a thermos).

For lunch I have the egg drink. The coffee takes the edge out of the

continuous flavour of coconut.

Hope this helps

>Thanks Lawrence,

Do you warm up the butter and coconut before blending? The coconut oil is

solid at room

temperature here in Michigan in the winter.

I didn't know coffee was in the diet.

Hi Doris,

you might want to review Bee's diet recommendations as well as the

directions for the egg drink. Swiss water processed decaf coffee is

allowed. The water used to make the egg drink has been boiled and

would then of course be very hot when you put it into the blender. The

coconut oil and butter melt from that heat.

Hello

You'll have seen the earlier response. But to give my procedure, I set

about 750ml water to boil, and while that is going, I put butter and

coconut oil at room temperature (solid), add the spices, instaant

coffee and then egg to the blender. Then, once the water has boiled, I

add it into the blender and blend until nice and foamy. It comes out

quite warm, but not scalding hot.

I think there are a few blends of the acceptable decaf " Swiss water

process " avaiable in the US. Try making a search on the website or

board mail posts. We live in Sweden and have found only " Clipper "

brand.

One of my favorite meals, eggs /w garlic and bacon

I coat one pan with a little less then a tablespoon of VCO, heat the

pan on medium then set it to medium low to cook 3 strips of bacon that

specifically says, no nitrates added - one that has no sugars and uses

sea salt is best.

I coat another pan with one and a half tablespoons of VCO, heat the

pan on medium then set to low-medium to cook 3 eggs - I will now

usually break the yolk torwards the end of this cooking

I use a garlic crusher to crush 3 cloves of garlic on to a cutting

board that has sea salt on top (to hold on to the juices of the

garlic) I usually will then cut up and add some red bell peppers. I

add this mix after I put the eggs on my plate.

Sounds more complicated then it actually is. But its a breakfast of

champions. (Steak and eggs would be a breakfast of kings)

+++Hi Doris. My coconut oil also stays solid during the Winter here,

so I keep my gallon container on the floor near the baseboard heat.

Keeping a small container on top of the fridge helps keep it liquid

too. The heat from the fridge or even from a pilot light on the stove

works well.

Others answered your question about decaf coffee.

My husband is not on the diet, but one breakfast we both really enjoy for a

sunday 'brunch' or special occasion is the spinach egg bread served with poached

eggs on top and hollandaise sauce (recipes are on Bee's site)- if you keep

sliced spinach bread in the freezer, this breakfast can be made quickly!

yum!

+++Hi Doris. hasn't been around for a very long time, since he

and his whole family were on the program a few years, and they are

doing great! He wrote several success stories at the time, and I

talked to him on the phone.

However, Nan also cured her ankylosing spondylitis and she is still

around - I suggest you put her name in the Subject Line to get her

attention. If you don't get a respond let me know and I will write

to her for you.

Luv, Bee
