I'm wondering if high cholestrol is not common in many conditions! I

have had high cholestrol (280) for most of my adult life. (Which is

many, many years!) I developed hyperthyrodism about 2 years ago.

Hi Dorris and Everyone,

I've read that low copper is associated with high cholesterol, possibly

because copper is essential to form the enzymes to convert cholesterol into

the other hormones. Hence hypers or hypos may have high cholesterol.

In hyperT, the high rate of metabolism may use up the cholesterol so that

in the emaciation stage of the disease, low cholesterol might be more common.

high in fats how will that affect my chance of having high cholestrol in the

future? I know that the fats we are eating are good fats but I just wonder how

this will affect the cholestrol issue?

+++Hi . The Cholesterol Theory is a total scam, and even based on false

information/studies. So cholesterol levels are a non-issue when it comes to

health since your body produces what it needs for repair and protection. Even

if you consumed no fats your body would still produce cholesterol.

Here's some good references:

1) Cholesterol and Heart Disease--A Phoney Issue:

3) The Cholesterol Myths book by Dr. Ravnskov:

Remember that while your body is detoxifying on this program your cholesterol

levels will increase, which is because of how cholesterol is needed to help

detoxification, but as you progress they will totally normalize.

The best, Bee
