Guest guest
I am very anemic and need something to help me raise my iron levels and my ferritan levels. I have very heavy periods and right now I have my period and it is very heavy. I would like to know if there is any natural vitamins that I can look into that will help bring up my ferritan levels? My cousins was telling me to take Ferrous Fermanate that this is a good supplement to raise my iron up but am wondering if there might be something better to help raise my levels. Thanks for all your help Theresa

If you follow this program (diet plus all supplements) your iron/ferritin levels will normalize like all other nutrients will throughout your body, even without taking any iron supplements or eating extra liver (for the iron), etc. That is because " if " you give your body " proper nutrients " it requires it becomes able to rebalance nutrients no matter what is too low or too high. If you must take iron ensure it is not from a plant source which is called non-heme iron, and instead that you take the correct kind of iron, which is heme iron only from animals sources, i.e. natural dessicated iron from beef, or eat 6 ounces of liver twice a week, or make your own iron pills: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/supp3.php One member of our group did nothing but this program for 6 months, and when she got her blood tested her iron levels went from 4 to 64 without taking any iron supplements, nor by eating liver.
