Hi Alison,

Haven't heard from you in a while. Don't know about the " black " . How

is your son? Didn't he have his wrists operated on as well? I am always

interested, my son seems similar to yours... looks like his only permanent

damage is in his fingers and wrists. Jana

Jana,

Jana thanks for asking he is doing ok. No he hasn't had the wrist done yet

they did the 4 fingers on his left hand. He is now playing Football you know

I am holding my breathe at every game. He is a senior this year. I don't

know what that it is on his finger nail. It has me puzzle me. It looks like

he smashed his finger but he says he hasn't. I guess we will see next week.

Hope all well w/ you and yours.

thanks Alison

Hi Alison,

Though I have heard that there are some noticeable ridges that appear on

the nails with some illnesses, I haven't heard of what you describe.

I've also heard it mentioned that sometimes there is some discoloration

by a joint after repeated injections of steroids into the joint. Please

let us know what the doctor says about this, after your son's appt.

Sounds like it may be something we should familiarize ourselves with.

Take care,

Georgina

Alison,

The surgery on his fingers must have gone pretty well if he is

playing football. What was the recovery time? Robbie's pinkie fingers

will need some help! I know what you mean about football, Robbie

played last year (all 70 lbs of him), it made me a nervous wreak.

This year he tried out for the golf team, don't know yet if

he made it, but the change makes me happy. Jana

Hi again,

I noticed something a little odd this morning.  My fingernails, although

stronger than before I began Bee's program, are growing in a flattened, kind of

spoon-shaped-curving-downward direction.  Instead of being rounded like a

Quonset hut, they look like I mooshed them down with something heavy so they'd

grow this way.

Never had this before.  I'm not alarmed or concerned.  Just curious.

Thanks again,

W

Hi Bee,

I've never been anemic, but I've had a multi-nodular goiter and was taking 25

mcg of Cytomel for a few years.  I stopped taking it when I began your program.

And I eat red meat on occasion and I'm eating eggs every day either in your egg

drink or cooked.

I'm taking mostly all the right supplements.  I am using up a calcium supplement

that is not calcium citrate.  Other than that, I believe I'm following your good

advices to the letter.

I finally had to cut my fingernails today.  Weird thing...I broke two of them

doing chores and I haven't dont that in ages so maybe I'm retracing.  My memory

blanks out pretty well still so it's hard to remember.

Thanks for trying to figure this out,

W
