Will making Ghee ruin raw butter benefits?

Hello Bee,

I am sensitive to dairy so I thought about starting with Ghee (which I have made

and used in the past) at first.

For the first time though, , I have access to raw milk butter. I was wondering

if heating it to 200 deg. in the oven to make Ghee would ruin all the 'raw'

benefits? Otherwise, I may just as well use the store bought organic, since it

has already been heated.

Thanks!!!

Muysana

+++Hi Muysana. The reason you are sensitive to dairy is because of its sugar

content, called lactose, which feeds candida. The rule about lactose is: " The

higher the butterfat content the lower the lactose. " Also butterfat helps

digest lactose and proteins in dairy.

If you follow the recipe carefully the ghee will be fine - here's the one on my

The best, Bee
