I won't take anymore cal/mag today then. Could too much of either cause swollen feet? > > > Also you should be consuming water that contains its natural minerals - not distilled, reverse osmosis or softened water. Softened water is particularly bad since it is high in sodium which washes minerals out of your body. I don't think I've had swollen feet before so I'm thinking it's probably not retracing. I've had the exact same problem for almost 2 years now, but not my feet s often, mostly my calfs. It's very difficult to get a handle on it. My calfs have gotten a LOT better though so I guess it just takes a long, long time for the body to really adjust. > > I am still getting leg cramps most nights Yes, me too. I have to be super careful every morning when I stretch as I wake up, I used to go into cramps in my calf muscles every morning for the first year. Now I know how to avoid straightening my legs in the morning when I stretch. So long as I keep them slightly bent I don't go into full cramps anymore, just the beginnings of cramps that then subside. > Also you should be consuming water that contains its natural minerals - not distilled, reverse osmosis or softened water. I add trace minerals to my reverse osmosis water. Is that ok?Bee, do you think I'm doing something wrong? I have a feeling it's just that my body is still dealing with toxins and adrenal fatigue, not to mention candida, lol. But is it normal to have those symptoms 2/3s of the way into my treatment program?

No, taking cal/mag isn't usually involved in swollen feet. > > +++Are you taking any kind of medications or drugs, hormones, birth control pills, etc.? > > The only medication I take is Armour Thyroid. +++Have you ever frost bitten your legs/feet or had them injured in the past? For your cramps, first increase your magnesium by 100-150 mg; if that doesn't help increase your calcium a little bit 50 mgs. Let me know if that helps. > > > Also you should be consuming water that contains its natural minerals - not distilled, reverse osmosis or softened water. > > I add trace minerals to my reverse osmosis water. But is it normal to have those symptoms 2/3s of the way into my treatment program? +++It is better to get the natural minerals in water, since not even Concentrace can be exactly like Mother Nature - use a Brita Filter with your tap water instead. +++Yes it is normal to be dealing with toxins all through the program, since that's what caused your immune system to become depressed, i.e. drugs & medicines, foods and drinks with toxins in them, damaging foods, and exposure to toxins from cleaning and personal care, plastic products, etc. - it is a very long list. Actually our bodies only have one set of reactions, whether they are called die-off, healing or detoxifying reactions, which are experienced all during the healing process, including " retracing. I injured one foot skiing a year ago but I think it was my right foot, not my left which is still swollen now. Other than that I can't remember. My memory is horrible and hopefully will improve greatly on this program.
Guest guest
Thanks ever so much Bee! Really appreciate it. Will start by increasing the magnesium. > +++It is better to get the natural minerals in water, since not even Concentrace can be exactly like Mother Nature - use a Brita Filter with your tap water instead. I live in the US and the water here has loads of toxins in it, like arsenic, uranium, estrogen, and many other prescription drugs etc, the list is long (a brita filter would not be able to get those dissolved particles out. Would it be ok if I just added a few more drops of trace minerals, or do you think that using the reverse osmosis will seriously threaten my progress? > +++Yes it is normal to be dealing with toxins all through the program, since that's what caused your immune system to become depressed, Is it possible that I may be feeling quite a lot of healing reactions up until the very last day of the program, right before the immune system finally overtakes the candida? Guest guest
, I have had swollen feet/legs from an imbalance of my thyroid. I corrected that and the swelling went away. I take Armour Thyroid and when it was too low, I got swollen feet and legs.

I hope your cramps resolve soon. > > Hi , Yes, I used to have to do that too. It's so super painful and it's a chock to the system to jump up that quickly. (laughing at self) If I up my magnesium I go into out of control diarheea so I'm feeling quite stuck. I'm just hoping time on the diet will heal.... Guest guest
> > Hi... > > I am new to the group. My name is Arianna. I was eating in a similar way before i started reading this plan. Ever since this yeast this exploded for me my feet have been swollen, especailly when its warmer of course...but even when its not. Why is this? Also I notice Coconut oil is used alot, but what about young coconut meat blended with its water...can we do that as well? > +++Hi Arianna. Welcome to our group. There are many reasons the feet can swell, which are usually because of toxins and mineral imbalances. Coconut meat contains too much natural sugars, while coconut oil doesn't contain any sugar. The best to you, Bee
Guest guest
My feet are swollen today. This has never happened to me before so I know it isn't retracing. I upped my electrolyte drink today. I normally take it twice a day, occasionally 3 times, but today I took it 4 times. Could this be the reason and if so should I back down to my normal 2 times a day? Thank you soooo much. Don't be concerned, and just do things that help your body detoxify, like the Electrolyte Drink, coffee enemas, Epsom salt baths, etc. Bee
