I also here about the little cut, scrapes, anything is a major thing. If he stubs his toe he goes on for days about how he broke it. Tells everyone. We learned in elemntry school that when he went to the nurse, if he did not have a fever or had not thrown up, she gave him mental medicine and sent him back to class. this seemed to work very well. OCD causes so much more and goes so much deeper than people think. I hope you have an understanding teacher. That is so important. Guest guest
Dear , If your daughter is anything like mine, (and she sure seems to be) then she is probably so overly focussed on vomiting that she is misinterpreting the normal feelings in her body. My daughter spent several years convinced that she was about to vomit. She still says " I KNOW I'm not going to vomit, it's just OCD, but I FEEL all sick. My stomach feels mushy (or some new adjective). " It took me the first year of her illness to realize that she was interpreting " butterflies in the stomach " as nausea. Every time we did something that made her nervous she would start crying that she was going to throw up. I explained to her that her fight/flight response was set a bit too high and her body just reacted strongly to fear - that helped a lot. (She was four then). Now when her OCD is causing problems she has all kinds of physical complaints (dizziness, stomachaches, mysterious aches and pains). Her OCD (which still centers around vomiting fears) makes her focus inward on her body so much that she can literally talk herself into being sick. I ended up taking her to the psychiatrist two years ago when the " I JUST KNOW I'm going to vomit " turned into actual vomiting before school most mornings - she would flip herself out so much she would start to gag, and then eventually, well... It might help if you talk openly with about the icky feelings in her stomach that may just be OCD tricking her. Of course you might first get her checked out physically to be SURE there's nothing organic there. Good luck with this. I hope she continues to improve! Celexa has done wonders for us! Guest guest
Cheri, Thanks for the info, its funny Kianna and seem to have the same symptoms. We skipped the fever but had some of the other symptoms so hopefully this is all that we will have in the future. Guest guest
Hi Bee and group, How are you doing? I started having stomach aches about 3 weeks ago. They come and go, but seem to start mainly after Bee's egg drink for breakfast, but sometimes start in the morning before I've eaten. I've been on the diet since mid-January. I thought that maybe the aches were from retracing as I have had stomach aches infrequently over the years but now I'm thinking the aches are more die-off since they are continuing on after 3 weeks. I made some ginger tea yesterday afternoon which helped a little and the stomach ache subsided, only to come back right before dinner continuing through the night to now (midmorning). After searching on the group I just ate some sauerkraut which seems to have helped a little. I massage my abdomen daily and I can't find a specific area that hurts, the whole abdomen just seems to ache (gas?). So my questions: 1. Does this seem like die-off (gas from candida??), digestive problems, or could I be doing something wrong? I'm fully on the diet, up to 4 T and 1 t. VCO. 2. In some posts on the group you recommended others with abdominal pain to do the 9 day program. I am considering doing it again. I previously did it and wonder if I can do the 2 enemas a day again or if I should just do pureed foods and enemas only every 5 days? Thanks again for your help! I really appreciate this wonderful group.

I think your stomach aches may be caused by low stomach acid. Ensure you are eating 1/4 to 1/2 cup of sauerkraut with every meal or taking Betaine Hydrochloric acid - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig5.php +++You can consume liquid or pureed foods any time you have digestive problems without doing the enemas (or do them every 4-5 days), since stomach aches and nausea can be caused by stress. If your body is running on high adrenaline it lowers your digestive capability, particularly stomach acid. If that's the case, do deep breathing exercises frequently: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/breath1.php > Thanks again for your help! Guest guest
Thanks Bee! I am eating about 1/2 cup sauerkraut with each meal, except for the egg drink for breakfast, plus I take 6 to 7 Betaine Hydrochloric Acid with each meal (including breakfast). I was taking 9 to 10 HCL but then started getting some burning so I reduced it down. But maybe due to stress I need more like you said. I will try it and let you know. When I was massaging this morning I found that my lower right hand side was painful, the ileocecal valve area. I massaged it and my tummy is feeling better. But other times I don't feel a specific painful area like I already said. I remembered after I posted this morning that I got the first stomach ache 3 weeks ago after a chiropractor adjusted my upper spine. He had adjusted it multiple times over the last few months but that was the first time I had the abdominal pain. Thanks for your help. I will keep you posted! Best Regards, > > +++Hi . Maybe you should see your chiropractor again. The best, Bee
Guest guest
Hi , I have the stomach aches too. They started a few months pre-diet and have continued. In fact, I think they may have started when I started with this new chiropractor. She told me they were probably referred pain from my back. Not sure what to think. My back is better, but my stomach is not! Keep me posted on what works for you! Guest guest
Addie was complaining of stomach aches this week, too. She was even a little sick because of it. Personally, I think it's just a flu bug going around right now, and not related to the brace that she's wearing.
Guest guest
Stomach aches are the most common kid complaint and are a sign of Anxiety. I know my older one has a lot of anxiety (a lot stemming from drs.). I don't know if that might be an issue? Guest guest
Hi , Not sure how it is going with the stomach aches, but I also wonder if he could be having constipation issues. In our case it is part of the whole scoli package and low muscle tone. Hope he is feeling better. > > I need some input. Guest guest
Thanks for all of yourinput. I've been paying close attention to 's stomach aches to see whether it's the type of food he's been eating or what. I've found that it happened twice this week when I've been gone at bedtime. He missed me! Sweet, but unlike him to get that upset. I'm guessing anxiety has been a culprit, but I still wonder how much of it is all rolled into the scoliosis package. I'll be sure to keep sn eye om it.
