Hi Darlene,

It looks like that wonderful jumped in and saved the day for me once again. It sure it wonderful to have an expert on the list to help out with this. I was thrilled a few months ago when wrote and told me she had been working with my skin care line in depth for years and gave me a glowing testimonial. It really is a tiny little world we live in. I am so glad it is populated with so many wonderful caring people willing to give of their time to share their information and experiences.

I hope all your questions were answered.

Take care,

Rashelle

I tried Rashelle's face mask the other day (loved it!), and now my face seems really oily by the end of the day. I didn't think of a connection until Rea posted about there not being dry skin - just problems exfoliating (sp?) the dead layers off. I've had combination skin, so I've not thought it was dry in the past. Now, it's really oily. Is there any connection? I wondered if the dead skin was removed and now all of the oil is coming up. (You can tell I don't really know much about this!) Or maybe it's part of detoxing? I know that the skin is a big organ of elimination for the body, too. Can anybody clear this up for me? Thanks!Smiles,Darlene

Hi,

I have this problem myself and thought I'd share some advice.

Wash your face. I know that is a rather simple thing to say but many people with

problem skin don't wash and it causes more problems. Don't use commercial

soap on your face - but you can use handmade soap. A goatsmilk or baby soap

for example is usually very mild and great for the skin.

After washing - use a toner. This gives the skin an immediate drink and lets you

smell nice while you're finising your toilet. I use rose hydrosol because I love

the

smell; I also use lavender when I'm feeling down or blue, or use tea tree or

witchhazel if I'm having a bad oily day. I don't use these straight though - I

mix up

a blend of 2 parts flower hydrosol and one part tea tree or witchhazel. It won't

smell as good but it works wonders. You can also use this during the day to

touch

up areas that are oily (my chin for example).

Last of all - moisturise. Regardless of your skin type you really should

moisturise

with an appropriate moisturiser. The easiest way to find one you like is to into

a

retail store and make it clear you want advice and then soak it up. I use an

extremely light one that has a sunscreen in it - I have had 7 cancers taken off

my

skin already so I will not use a moisturiser without it. If I need something

extra I

use a bit more. If I have spots I always use a handmade rose and lavender cream

because otherwise it dries out and I pick at the scab and it gets worse... so I

moisturise to prevent that.

Onec a week I use a clay mask. I started off with green clay (which I recommend

for " neglected " skin) mixed with warm water and left for a few minutes. Then I

rubbed the clay on my face and washed off, then toned and moisturised. I've now

moved to red clay which I recommend for " maintained " skin. You can add a few

drops of EO or use a hydrosol to mix the clay to a paste. You could also try a

pineapple or strawberry mask for oily skin. Just keep the cat away :)!

> Dear Bee, Hi! I have been chugging along on the program quite nicely and feel

pretty good.I just did my 1st water enema this morning-very interesting-I will

do the next one in 4 days with the coffee. My question today is about my oily

facial skin. As I've told you before through phone and email I have acne-37

years old. I have noticed-I'm on the supllements only 2 weeks today and diet

full force about 1 month, 1 week and the pimples that do come around jaw and

mouth area-my problem spots are not as deep although they still come they seem

to be smaller. I look forward to them never returning soon-I know it will take

time. What about my excessively oily skin-I use clo on my face only at

night-(been doing this about 8 days now) because I just don't need that much

oil--I wash in the morning-is this excessive oilyness part of the adrenal

problem that causes the acne in the 1st place? Luv, Phyllis

Hi Phyllis

You be lucky and don't worry. Any problems you have now are TEMPORARY and enjoy

them and don't be tempted to slather anything toxic on your emerging beautiful

skin.

Hey Phyllis

at least not as soon as people with dry skin.....

Just to make you smile!!!!! have a nice day!

+++Good for you Phyllis!

+++Don't be concerned about the exact reason(s) for your oily skin, since the

reason(s) for any abnormalities throughout the body is because it is in such

poor condition, which caused acne, candida, etc. to begin with.

Since your skin is oily I suggest that you not apply coconut oil, and just let

nature take its course, which will eventually normalize your skin.

All the best, Bee
