Guest guest
Hi Pippi, Welcome aboard. Your story is a familiar one in these parts. We chance upon these dramatic changes in such uncommon ways don't we? Good to know you are happy with what the good doctor did to your left ear. Hope the right one works out fine. I am going for my first surgery (hopefully last!) on my left ear. Looks like I have a growth in the right ear too but as of now the doctor (good is he - we'll have to see) isn't too concerned about that one. Take care and welcome again! Piyali. pippi_langsamer <roger.leather@...> wrote: Hi all!Well, you can imagine my suprise when I happened upon this support group for fellow cholesteatoma sufferers! As many have said in other threads, it's comforting to know there are other people out there who have/ are experiencing similar problems, & understand what others are feeling. I was first diagnosed with 'ear-blight', as I like to call it about three years ago (I'm 29 now). I'd just returned from a fifteen month trip to SE Asia & NZ, when my condition was diagnosed (by my excellent ENT surgeon), which made the return to soggy ol' England just that little bit more miserable! The condition was diagnosed in both ears, though my left ear was in a pretty advanced stage & necessitated a fairly hasty ( & expensive!), radical mastoidectomy. A few year down the line, my left ear is in fairly good shape (suffered about a 40% hearing loss), & I am awaiting surgery on my right ear, which is no where near as bad as the left one was, but still needs 'doing'. Have the occasional bout of dizziness & tinnitus, though thankfully hasn't stopped me riding my mountain bike. Unfortunately I have to put head first departures into muddy puddles down to poor bike handling & not a nasty disease with a long name! Guest guest
Hello I'm new to the group. I'm just amazed by the amount of info. available in this group and on Bee's website. (I'm also a web designer and quite impressed by the organization of the site Where to start. I've had adrenal fatigue for about 8 years and been taking a boat load of supplements. I thought I had it down and was on the way to a life of health..well, that wasn't the case. Two months ago, I broke out with psoriasis. A bit at first, but now it's on both my hands and beginning to crawl up my arms. Many sites point out the connection between candida and psoriasis, and I believe it. So I'm trying to deal with the candida as a way of healing the psoriasis. The diet is not difficult for me as I had already given up so much on account of adrenal fatigue. That's not the problem at all. What scares me now is that some of the supplements that help so very much with the adrenal fatigue seem to be worsening the psoriasis. So I'm not so sure what the heck to do. B complex feeds the adrenals and has been most helpful, yet now I read that it's not great for candida...and the psorisis seems to prove that...it gets mad as hell when I take B complex. A fish oil supplement I've been taking and finding so helpful now seems to be worsening the psorisis as well. When I checked the label of the fish oil, it says it contains soya...so maybe that's the problem. In any event, it seems that the crutches I've used to deal with adrenal fatigue are now being pulled from under me, and I find that scary. Does anyone have a similar story? Anyone learn to deal with adrenal fatigue and psoriasis at the same time? Thanks Ricky
Guest guest
Hi Ricky, Welcome to the club! Yeah, Bee's site is great, isn't it? It's so helpful in so many different ways! I like using the search tool at the top - there are so many articles on lots of different topics. Where did you read that B complex is not good for candida? Bee recommends that we take a balanced B complex. Your skin gets worse from taking the B complex because it is helping your body to detoxify. We just had a discussion about this a few months ago where another member was getting the same flare ups of their rosacea from taking vitamins. The vitamins are helping your body to heal and in order to heal, it is trying really hard to get the toxins out of your body. In your case, the toxins come in the form of psoriasis. For other people, it's acne or rosacea. You could try putting cod liver oil or the oil from a vitamin A softgel onto your psoriasis. Here is the list of success stories from other people on Bee's program. You can also do a message search to see if there is anything more there. http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php I don't know if there are any stories about psoriasis, but wouldn't it be cool if one day you were one of them? Good luck! > > Hello > > I'm new to the group. <snip> What scares me now is that some of the supplements that help so very much with the adrenal fatigue seem to be worsening the psoriasis. I'm glad you are getting so much great information and that you are impressed with my website organization. Thank you so much! > > Where to start. That's a good thing! +++Also adrenal fatigue is caused by candida; see my article on it: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/treat1.php +++Most candida sufferers have low adrenal and thyroid function because candida toxins (other toxins as well) cause all cell membranes to become rigid/stiff which interferes with the functioning of all organs, and also hormones, nutrients, etc. aren't as able to get into stiff cells where they are needed to do their job - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout1.php > > Many sites point out the connection between candida and psoriasis, and I believe it. Your own body makes a number of B vitamins when it is functioning properly. +++Yes, it is disconcerting that so many products include soy. See this article for product ideas and details on nutrients levels for cod liver oil, etc.: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cod2.php > > In any event, it seems that the crutches I've used to deal with > adrenal fatigue are now being pulled from under me, and I find that > scary. +++Unfortunately you did not get proper information, but now you do. Just ensure you switch over to only taking the supplements recommended and to get onto this high " good " fats program follow this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php > > Does anyone have a similar story? Anyone learn to deal with adrenal > fatigue and psoriasis at the same time? +++My brother is 61 years old, and he cured his Crohn's disease (diarrhea) that he'd had for over 20 years on my program. He also cured his psoriasis, which occurred a few years before starting my program, when his body " retraced " those symptoms on my program, along with " retracing " Lyme's Disease and West Nile Virus - retracing is according to Hering's Law of Cures: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu1_1_2.php +++It takes 1 month of natural healing for every year you've been unhealthy, which for most people nowadays is since before they were born. Anyone learn to deal with adrenal fatigue and psoriasis at the same time? +++Hi Ricky. Welcome to our group. Most candida sufferers have adrenal fatigue, and many also have skin eruptions; psoriasis is one kind. However, all skin eruptions are because of toxins coming out through the skin, which is the best way for the body to get rid of them so that vital inner organs are protected. My brother had horrible psiorasis too, which was cured on my program, like many people have cured skin problems. Also many people have cured their adrenal fatigue - see these many Success Stories, some of which include curing skin problems and low adrenals: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php Also see this article on Adrenal Malfunction: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/treat1.php Ensure you read two important articles before you start on this program: 1) How to Successfully Overcome Candida, and 2) Curing Candida, How to Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/candida/index.php You can't go wrong following Nature's Fundamental Laws on health by providing your body with what it needs to heal itself naturally. We are here to help and support you, so you too can get healthy like many of us have. The best in health, Bee
