Hi le,

Instead of eating nuts and avocados for carbs, why not eat broccoli, peppers,

cauliflower, etc. which are low in fat?

>

<snip>

I am having trouble getting my carbs up, and avocado and nuts seem to be a good

fit, but then I exceed my fat! I don't have to worry just yet, but when I get

up to everything, I don't know what to do about getting more carbs so I don't

get too much fat? Help!

Coconut Oil per day plus 3 eggs and 2 T of Ghee for the egg drink, I am at 122 g

of fat. According to Fitday. Is this right? I am having trouble getting my

+++Hi le. There is a low and high range of fats, so isn't 150 grams of fat

the low range? Doublecheck what your high range is.

if you can't get them any higher. Avocados and nuts are not your best sources of

fat. I would not be concerned about exceeding your saturated fat intake. The

more saturated fats the better:). Fitday is an approximation. I don't think it

must be exact just try not to exceed their carb recommendation.

Oh good, I forgot about that. 210 is the high. What are some higher carb

veggies besides broccoli?

I woke up today with hypo-glycemic symptoms. I read something about this

somewhere on your site or a link about ketosis. And my fingernails are now

slightly pale.

Thanks

I eat a bunch of peppers, but they didn't add up to much. I have eaten

cauliflower, but it's half of what broccoli is. Any veggies we can eat that are

higher like broccoli?

+++Hi le. You shouldn't be concerned about your level of carbs since all

carbs feed candida, but it is impractical to eliminate them all. However there

are many vegetables higher in carbs than broccoli, i.e. turnip, summer squash,

spaghetti squash - see this food list:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foodslist.php

Die-off symptoms and hypoglycemic symptoms can be exactly the same. The amount

of protein and fat you are consuming means you couldn't possibly be hypoglycemic

since 58% of protein and 10% of fat change into glucose inside your body.

Yes people do go through ketosis on my program because of the high good fats,

and ketosis is very healthy. Your heart and brain prefer to run on ketones

bodies (a source of energy produced by high good fats), instead of using glucose

as their energy source. See this article about ketosis:

http://www.biblelife.org/ketosis.htm

Tour fingernails are pale due to poor circulation, which is caused by toxins,

mostly from candida. That is because toxins cause cell membranes to become

stiff/rigid, which means red blood cells aren't as able to fold over and fit

themselves into the small capillaries in your fingers, toes, etc. - see this

article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout1.php

Thank You Bee.

I woke up yesterday just starving to death, and couldn't shovel in food fast

enough; it was the good for me food, but it took forever to feel satisfied. My

heart was acting like it was on caffeine all day (kind of like I had too much

thyroid medicine, but I haven't had any of that since Saturday.)

Yep...that was the ketosis link. Thanks. I am going to save that.

As for my nails, I was worried about it being from my kidneys because they are

pink at the base (cuticle) white in the middle, and then pink at the top (tip of

my finger.) I couldn't find anything like that on the internet. So perhaps

they are normal. I don't know.

+++Hi le. Yes, it appears you are in ketosis - that's great!

I don't think your nailes are anything to be concerned about.
