If I had a nickel for every piece of rotten advice one of these quacks gave their patients who then wound up on this board, we'd all be rich! Guest guest
I spoke with my 4 year old son's ENT doctor last night and asked him his thoughts on candida. As I had read some doctors do, he completely shot the idea down. I don't understand why doctors wouldn't be more receptive to modifying a diet as a means to better health?! Not sure where to turn for medical support in this direction...
Guest guest
Hi Amy, I hate to say it, but we are pretty much all on our own here. As you saw, the medical community does not believe in candida. I wondering why you think you would need medical support. This program is really all you need. Many people like the idea of taking responsibility for their own health. I also have my 4 year old on the program and is doing wonderfully. He is monitored by the medical community (but only because we have to for his daycare lunches) and has had lots of tests, including blood tests and they say his body is functioning normally - nothing to worry about. If your son has autistic-like traits, you might consider seeing a DAN! doctor. But in all honesty, I don't think they understand the importance using foods to build the immune system and thus heal the body the way that Bee's program does. Many DAN! practitioners do believe in the candida connection, but they are medically based and therefore use toxic drugs to try to 'kill off' candida. It just doesn't work that way. If you are nervous about how to get started, Bee does private consultations. You just need to contact her to set up an appointment. Hope that helps! > > I spoke with my 4 year old son's ENT doctor last night and asked him his thoughts on candida. As I had read some doctors do, he completely shot the idea down. Amy..the answer is $$$$$ If we take charge of our own health we don't pay them anymore. I'm not saying all Dr's are that way, but wouldn't you be protective of your job? Amy S. Guest guest
I know someone with terminal lung cancer with mets to his brain. He was trying to prolong his life with chemo etc. But he's a chiropractor and certainly has his foot in both alopathic and alternative worlds. He has been seriously considering some alt. treatments; the most innocent being IV Vit. C. His oncologist has said if he does pursue this, he, the oncologist, will no longer have anything to do with his care. How's that for honoring the Hypocratic Oath? Guest guest
When my mom had cancer I asked about her diet and what she should do. They replied with " she should eat whatever she wants, whatever makes her feel good " . Of course that was fried foods and sweets. I asked about her seeing a nutritionist and they basically ignored my question. Amazing.
