Tooth decay and candida?

Hi Bee,

Is candida associated with tooth decay? I'd never had much tooth decay in my

life and suddenly had several cavities several years ago, right around the time

that other health issues worsened. Could this be associated with candida? Maybe

because of vitamins A and D, and calcium?

My vit. D was also testing pretty low, but as of early May, it was in the 40s, I

think (the doctor thought the level then was OK). I'd been supplementing with D

for a while, so I guess that's what improved the levels. I'll try to get as much

D from the sun as I can this summer, too--for years I'd been programmed by the

drs to stay OUT of the sun!

Do some people find that any dental decay improves on this program? If so, does

it make sense to hold off on dental exams till after being on this program for

some time? If so, how much time to wait? (I say this because I assume if a

person does have dental problems, the dentist will want to line up procedures,

fillings, etc. that will be invasive and cost money.)

I have your article about tooth care...other than that, anything else to do to

help the teeth healing along? I've also read about the WA Price track record

with helping decay heal--via CLO, butter oil, raw milk, bone broth, etc. I sure

wish I didn't have the dairy allergy--otherwise I'd do raw milk (there's a great

grassfed dairy nearby), and maybe that would really help my teeth to heal, along

with the other items.

I'm now brushing with homemade tooth powder--about 50/50 ground up Celtic salt

mixed with baking soda. I put a drop or two of peppermint oil on top of that on

the toothbrush. Much more enjoyable to brush with this than toothpaste...not to

mention the cost savings!

And is it my imagination, or could my teeth be at least a little whiter and less

" dull " looking since starting this program?

Judy
