Guest guest
Dear Christie, I so understand all you're saying, it's like i'm writing it.. LOL what I have noticed to help a little with bloating is essential oils rubbed on my belly, ginger+geranium+peppermint, it does not make the pants fit but it feels a bit better. please know the oils are not part of Bee's program. Ginger tea or capsule helps a little but not a whole lot. Yet the most intreresting thing I noticed which has a direct relationship to my bloating and colon is *anger* Please know that I'm a reiki master +other energy healing modalities so spiritual healing is very important to me and that inlcudes healing the anger, but to me that meant *eliminating* the anger from my life. So I just *consciously* terminated relationship w/ 2 people that were draining me of energy and *stimulating* (not causing!) much anger; one it made sense (she completely refuses to *receive* any help yet is crying for help) but the other did not make sense for me to get angry to. I was hard to decide to do so because of compasion, she needs me, I know how to help her, etc, etc but I *applied* my decision. I've communicated very nicely without accusations focusing the message on *me* and *love* (if interested I could send you the message) The day before the *letting go* I kept affirmimg **I LOVE myself, I love every single part of myself, I love that part of me that gets angry at her, etc, etc** After a while I kept seeing with my mind's eyes an upset and angry little girl. I added the affirmation *I love that little girl inside of me which is angry and hurt and upset, I love her truly and completely, I Love myself* Next day while I was *letting go* (sent my friend the message) something wonderful happened, a beautiful warm feeling covered my chest/heart & I was flooded with calmness & my face openned into a huge smile. Within a minute or so I saw with my mind's eyes that little girl, happy, jumping in my arms, hugging me big time, then dancing joy and happiness, then getting beautiful white wings and rising up... Whoaa... that was/is *Magic*! All day my body felt light and free and happy (bloating wasn't to bad) I got to mention that while communicating with these 2 people I watched my body react and I noticed how the anger would go straight into my colon, my belly would expand and my old *spots* would hurt again. The process of letting go, altough it seemed to be about *eliminating* anger it was more about *introducing* more Love inside me; I used to always bend over backwards to help others first, but what about me? who's helping me? anybody bending over backwards to even comfort me? let alone help me? I keep affirming *I Love my self, I Love every single part of me* As I fill myself with Love, the non-Love will have to get out eventually ... and it is getting out: today I'm more energetic, still bloated but " I Love this belly of mine that gets bloated beyond limits, I love myself " So- Love yourself! Guest guest
---Hi Christie, I had what you describe below for years. It was the worst feeling!! What helped me so much was the nine day program when I first started Bee's diet. I only did the enemas for the nine days, but the blended food extended weeks. I just decided I wasn't going to eat solids until the bloating had gotten a lot better. So I made huge pots of bone broth soup, and for my meals I had broth with poached eggs in it, or the soup blended up. I even took all the seeds and skins from the vegetables. I also had the egg drink once or twice a day. Even now (after about 4 months on the program) I still get a bit bloated sometimes, and if that happens I go back to the blended foods again for a day or two. I really feel for you my dear, and I do hope you feel better soon! Best, Kathleen > I'm bloated almost the time. > I too only need to put one tiny bit of food in my mouth and it starts up too > Then it takes days to recede a little bit. It is the worst feeling. Guest guest
Hi Kathleen, that sounds encouraging, thanks for sharing. I'm already on pureed foods for almost 2 weeks and I actually like it better this way; the bloating has not gotten better though. I find it easier to cook soups and blend them. Good idea for taking the veggie's skin out, that does not get digested and only ferments in the intestines. Did you also experience water retention? Thank you, Carmen > > ---Hi Christie, > I had what you describe below for years. It was the worst feeling!! > What helped me so much was the nine day program when I first started > Bee's diet. Guest guest
Bee, I have figured out what is happening to me with this severe bloating, thanks to having a consultation with you: *Hiatal Hernia* is one of my monsters. I've visited the ER many times due to hiatal hernia symptoms, I can not believe how stupid the doctors were not to look into this, plus that during so many upper scopes they've seen it but figured it's small enough for it not to be a major concern... Anyway, I've read your article on hiatal hernia help and adjustments and I already did the warm water and dropping exercises. I have a couple questions though; the article talks about herbal help and believe me I could use all the help out there... The article mentions: " slippery elm or comfrey or okra pepsin; Betaine, or a food enzyme tablet, or perhaps an herbal digestive aid such as peppermint, chamomile, ginger root, fennel, and so forth " Which of these do I choose and how much/often? Should I buy another Betaine with pepsin? Should I take an enzyme with Betaine with meals instead of just Betaine? I am retracing now and will be retracing plenty more episodes of this horrible symptoms and if *easier* is available, I'm taking it. I'm also cautious to reduce the antifungals so I'll have lesser die-off gas during retracing. Thank you much, Carmen

" Now you can either get help to put it in place, or do self-adjustments. > > The article mentions: " slippery elm or comfrey or okra pepsin; Betaine, or a food enzyme tablet, or perhaps an herbal digestive aid such as peppermint, chamomile, ginger root, fennel, and so forth " > > Which of these do I choose and how much/often? Should I take an enzyme with Betaine with meals instead of just Betaine? +++You only need to take Betaine HCl - see my revised article about when to take it: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig5.php and a herb that helps alleviate gas, i.e. raw ginger root, or ginger root and fennel tea - keep it simple. > I am retracing now and will be retracing plenty more episodes of this horrible symptoms and if *easier* is available, I'm taking it. Guest guest
Dear Bee, Comfrey is now my friend! I also just learned that comfrey leafs is to be taken externally but comfrey root is OK to take internally. Well, I did take comfrey extract internally for past 2 days and It did wonders for my intestinal gas which is now actually coming out - ah-- aahhhhaaaaaaa :) God Help us All! I'll be careful not to take the comfrey leafs products internally anymore... I'm also going to try marshmallow and report back how it's working on the gas issue weather better then comfrey or same. Intestinal Gas seems to be a major problem while curing candida I figured this is a big help I am so looking forward to re-introduce butter in my egg drink once my intestinal gas has calmed down I love my egg drink much better with butter in it, plus I love b utter to begin with. I found some good articles online about comfrey, let me know what you think. I'm citing only 2 of the articles. http://www.botanical.com/botanical/mgmh/c/comfre92.html#med excerpt: ---Medicinal Action and Uses---Demulcent, mildly astringent and expectorant. As the plant abounds in mucilage, it is frequently given whenever a mucilaginous medicine is required and has been used like Marshmallow for intestinal troubles. It is very similar in its emollient action to Marshmallow, but in many cases is even preferred to it and is an ingredient in a large number of herbal preparations. It forms a gentle remedy in cases of diarrhoea and dysentery. A decoction is made by boiling 1/2 to 1 OZ. of crushed root in 1 quart of water or milk, which is taken in wineglassful doses, frequently. but our herbalists were loud in its praise and the country culler of simples held it almost infallible as a remedy for both external and internal wounds bruises, and ulcers, for phlegm, for spitting of blood, ruptures, hemorrhoids, etc. For ulcers of the stomach and liver especially, the root (the part used) was regarded as of sovereign virtue. A water extract of comfrey has been shown to stimulate production of protective substances known as prostaglandins in the stomachs thus confirming comfreys ancient reputation. These same constituents make it useful for bronchitis and diarrhea. This is another great article on Comfrey: http://www.springboard4health.com/notebook/herbs_comfrey.html excerpt: Comfrey root works longer in the intestines than does pepsin. Comfrey root's mucilage helps heal ulcers by coating them and destroying amoebic parasites. It has been successfully used for centuries as a wound-healer and bone-knitter, strengthening the skeleton and the pituitary gland. Comfrey helps in the calcium-phosphorus balance by promoting strong bones and healthy skin. It helps promote the secretion of pepsin and is a general aid to digestion. Laboratory studies done in India have shown that the mucilage in herbs like comfrey root act as a strong deterrent to Escherichia coli and similar intestinal microorganisms by absorbing them and other toxins. Comfrey root's mucilaginous properties work on the lungs in the same manner as in the colon. Too much comfrey can be toxic to the liver, especially comfrey leafs so caution is required. That is the reason most comfrey products are labeled for *external use only* So choosing the proper comfrey is necessary: comfrey root, not leafs if I want to take it internally. excerpt from http://www.springboard4health.com/notebook/herbs_comfrey.html: Comfrey contains two alkaloids which, when taken in sufficient quantities could produce liver toxicity. Comfrey may be contraindicated in patients on dietary potassium restrictions. Considerable amounts of are present in the root and leaves, but it is virtually nontoxic. At least eight allantoinpyrrolizidine alkaloids PA have been identified in the leaves of Russian comfrey (S. uplandicum): echimidine, symphytine, locopsamine, intermedine, acteylcopsamine, acetylintermedine, symlandine, and angelyl 9 echimidinylretronecine. Some, but not all pyrrolizidine alkaloids cause liver damage. Carmen
Guest guest
Hello my friend, There are a few tinctures teas out there that help relieve gas problems. The simplest is peppermint tea. A couple of tea blends that are very effective are 'Tummy Mint' by Celestial Seasonings and 'Eaters Digest' by Traditional Medicinals. Both can be purchased on www.vitacost.com . Hope this helps! :-) Debra NW Dear Bee, Comfrey is now my friend! I also just learned that comfrey leafs is to be taken externally but comfrey root is OK to take internally. Guest guest
Hi Debra, I have tried numerous products out there for relieving gas, and so far didn't find a solution. Peppermint tea does not do much for my gas. Ginger doesn't help all that much either... I am an extreme case of the most stubborn intestinal gas out there... My gas get's so hard, it won't come out even if I push... I'll buy these teas tonight see how it works... Guest guest
Hello Carmen, I understand. With difficult cases you can double up on the tea bags, and even drink the tea every 20-30 minutes up to an hour apart until you find relief. Tension doesn't help the situation, so relaxing for a while is important. Laying on your back and resting for a while, maybe using a very light massage from the bottom right side of your intestinal tract, up the the right side just under the ribcage, across and down the left side if you like. If you occasionally shift to resting on your left side it will help the process too. The most helpful herbs I have found for a variety of people that work are blends of one or more of the following gentle herbs; chamomile, catnip, elder, lemon balm, peppermint, hyssop, ginger, fennel. I don't know where you are at on Bee's diet plan but it is important to follow her outline to a 'T' to get the best results and to create a healthy healing balance for your body to have optimum results. Once you are on Bee's diet fully your body will adjust, things will ease up and this will not occur as often, possibly not at all. Stick with Bee's plan plan and keep exploring her files and you will find a wealth of information to help you create the healthy balance that you need as your body heals. I am beginning my 4th year on her diet plan, and really, would not eat any other way because the results are amazing when your body has what it needs to heal itself. Hope this helps! :-) Debra NW Hello my friend, There are a few tinctures teas out there that help relieve gas problems. The simplest is peppermint tea. Guest guest
Debra, you're right. I'm troubled more while at work. At home it's a different story. I do do some exercises and massage my belly on a regular basis. At work I do massage my belly and bend to squish my belly as often as possible. Thank you much, Carmen > > Hello Carmen, > I forgot to add that any activity like walking or rebounding each day will help also. > > Hope this helps! > Debra NW >
Guest guest
Hi Carmen, May I please request that you don't post such long articles, and instead provide short excerpts and the links. I do not recommend taking comfrey root, so you take it at your own risk. There are many plants that are very powerful and should only be taken for very short periods of time to help, but they should not be taken long term. Since you've had intestinal gas for many years, the symptoms are being suppessed by using comfrey, yet actual healing takes 1 month for every year, so you can expect to have intestinal gas for that period of time. That's just like many other people who have had symptoms for years, i.e. my own brother had Crohn's disease (diarrhea for over 20 years), yet his diarrhea didn't stop until he was on this program for 20 months. Like I've written before " more is not better. " If we treat each and every symptom with herbal treatments it is the same as doctors treat symptoms by giving drugs for each and every symptom. This program works since it addresses the overall health of the total body, and the only thing that cures is " proper nutrients. " We cannot speed up the healing process by taking such treatments either, since it will still take 1 month for every year, irregardless of any other kinds of treatments done, and such treatments will just interfere with the body's ability to do as it sees fit, and in its own time. The best in health, Bee

Again, I want to emphasize that since you've had gas for years, you will have it for as months as it takes to heal it, which is 1 month for every year, no matter what you do to try and alleviate it in the meantime.
