Guest guest Posted April 1, 2009 Report Share Posted April 1, 2009 Hi Bee and group As you know I've been having issues with hiatal hernia (hh), I have been having adjustments with a chiropractor, I have had 5 sessions, plus Ive been doing self massage etc, and although I've noticed big improvements, the burping belching has stopped, I can lie down now, dont have the strangled feeling across the chest. Prior to today I still haven felt 100%, so I havent felt confident to eat a non pureed meal yet. I did a google about hh and came across this video on you tube, the technique the presenter uses is different to the one the chiro I've been seeing. The video technique says that you should have someone else do the manoeurve on you, I (not sure if it was a good idea)decided to give it a go today. After trying to copy this technique I think I noticed a difference straight away, an improved difference. I feel confident enough to try a normal non-pureed meal. Bee if you have time would you be able to view this video and let me know whether or not its the same technique that your chiropractor did on you years ago, and if it is okay? Maybe other group members can take a look at it, if you says its ok. I would really appreciate your feedback. It is a very good method, similar to what I did on myself, which is the same principle of pushing down and at the angle he shows in the video. That's great it helped you! Keep up the good work.
