I am very new to GAPS and haven’t even started the

diet yet (just doing research to start the diet in the next few weeks).

However I have done some juicing in the last 10 years and from my understanding

it is very important to drink the juice within minutes of juicing it. I have

done mainly carrots & celery (not fruit). From what I have heard the juice

will be affected by the oxygen in the air and that will destroy the nutrients

in the juice.

I would be curious to hear what others have to say.

Yes, I have heard similar things too, though I haven’t juiced.

Only read up on it. Too, I had heard that a vitamix would be good juicing

option – it uses the whole fruit and vegetable (less waste) and easy to clean.

Anyone have thoughts on the vitamix or does that destroy nutrition too? I know

the type of juicer matters a lot when it comes to the nutrition you get out of

it too. Thanks!
