Guest guest
Hi Terri; It can get much more expensive.. I've read several sources that specify a PINT per bathtub for therapeutic use...that's about 500 ml, and peroxide bath as a component of AIDS treatment was I think about four times that. ciao Duncan Crow --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
Terri, a couple years back, I was able to buy bulk H2O2 and I used a quart at a time with a warm bath, about 30 gallons; had lots of bubbles. After the bath, my skin was like an infant's skin; so-o-o-o soft and like velvet. Can't wait to get back home from a California job. I'm going to buy a 55 gallon drum of it; lots cheaper. Guest guest
Hi Terri, what exactly were your expectations? I do a Hydrogen Peroxide bath of 1 cup of 35% to rejuvenate my self like after working in the yard and am a little stiff and tired after the bath I feel rejuvenated. I never feel relaxed, also you need to stay in the tub at least 20 min, the longer the better, the hotter the better. Laurie terri wrote: > I have a question regarding the above. Guest guest
Well, you gotta look for it; maybe a swimming pool supply. I've got a contact if you can't find it; about 50 miles from nowhere in Missouri. Beat the bushes and try, . If you just can't find a drum, post me back. Guest guest
Christel, not in 55 gal drums. Look around, it's out there. People use it for their swimming pools, for livestock, agriculture, for bleaching things and stuff. It's there, you'll find it. Now, getting it is another trick. I hate to lie, live my life in a way that does not make that necessary. You may have to have a garden or something to put it on or in an animal's water or something. But it's there. Obie. Guest guest
Hi all, Sorry to raise the issue of Hydrogen Peroxide again but I was just wondering if anyone knows of a source of bulk Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the UK ? That 55gallons sounds cheap but not very useful for us Brits! :-) Also, why do we need to use food grade if it's only for bathing ? Would not the usual bottle from my chemist be OK ? How much is needed to be really effective ? I've noted that the official line seems to be 8oz per bath (just over a 200ml bottle) but others seem to find it ineffective at that level and use more like 500ml to 1ltr per bath ? Any help much appreciated! > > > << You can buy a 55 gal. drum of 35% food grade h2o2 for $125.00 in Charlotte > NC! Guest guest
Hi , from what I've read all other Hydrogen Peroxide, other then food grade, use chemical stabilizers, you don't want in your body, via the skin. Also you can start with 8 oz. sometimes I will use 16 oz. it just depends, try it and find what amount works best for you. Guest guest
Ms. EG, of course not. This is, really, a gentle list; open to most ideas and, of course, H/P is an oxygen product so we do it here. No problem. What did you want to post? Obie. Re: hydrogen peroxide bath > Just curious, is there a problem raising the issue of Hydrogen > Peroxide here? Thanks. -EG [Angelkat] Hi, I think the subject of hydrogen peroxide has been on here a zillion times LOL, but there are always newcomers to the list who have just started to learn about oxygen therapies, etc. Everyone here is quite nice and willing to share info, even if it has been shared before, but there are archives available where you can read past posts and learn even more. I myself, am having a problem with the archives, since egroups changed to groups, I can't access them. It keeps telling me to put in my id number and then it doesnt work. Anyway, good luck figuring that one out. KAT

Guest guest
, In the US we can buy filters for shower and bath. Perhaps they are available int he UK with the right threads for your plumbing. I have one on both and life is definately nicer without chlorine and the other junk in the bath/shower water. Not to mention the fumes you breath. Donna hydrogen peroxide bath Hi Laurie, Thanks for your input. It sounds as though we should probably use the food grade HP. Now I just need an affordable UK bulk supplier. Another thought on the issue of regular HP bathing. I've been concerned for some time about the safety of bathing period with regard to the possible contamination of bath water supplies with chlorine, flouride, pesticides, minerals, etc. I read somewhere once that bathing was probably our largest source of pesticides - more than from non-organic food! Not sure whether it's true or not. Also, heard about absorbing something like a litre of chlorinated water when swimming in public pools. All this cannot be good, particularly for people already in poor health. Awkward as it may sound I have long stopped taking baths for this reason, and showers because of chlorine vapours, and wash with only boiled reverse osmosis water and a flannel! My skin is extremely sensitive, it seems, to the normal water and I always break out in severe hives when taking a bath. The RO water wash does not seem to have as bad an effect. Is anyone out there having these HP baths using any kind of filtered water ? I have a Reverse Osmosis water filter for my drinking water but it takes something like 2 hours to produce 5 ltrs or RO water. Fine for drinking but for bathing quanities, obviously, not practical. Anyone know of a filter or other product that can be used for creating something like a bath of Reverse Osmosis water ?!? Now wouldn't that be nice - a bath of reverse osmosis water with added H2O2, epsom salts, sea salt, seaweed and unpasteurised apple cider vinegar!!! ) Hmmmm Re: Re: hydrogen peroxide bath Hi , from what I've read all other Hydrogen Peroxide, other then food grade, use chemical stabilizers, you don't want in your body, via the skin. One brand name that springs to mind is " Rainshower " . Try a 'net search, you'll probably be able to get one online. They've been around for close to a decade at least, and are highly recommended by many health professionals. Good searching, Sharon
Guest guest
, We've put a house filter on the water coming into our house. Yes, the reverse osmosis unit only does the drinking water, but the other filter removes all large sediment and chlorine from the water going to every tap in the house. I believe the problem with bathing/showering in chlorinated water is due to breathing in the vapours. I read that in " Your Body's Constant Cry for Water " by Dr Batman. So, now I feel safe. Guest guest
Dear Donna, Terri, Byron, Obie, Sharon and all, Thanks for your comments on the H2O2 baths and 'safe' bathing water. I'm still not sure which is going to be the best option. I would love to use rainwater but as some of you mentioned, in our sadly polluted world it is not safe and would, itself, require filtering. The other thing that makes it more difficult is the fact that I am soon to be moving onto my newly purchased narrowboat to live so, obviously, regular house pipe arrangements become slightly redundant. I would like to make it as eco-friendly as possible with solar/wind power, etc so rainwater harvesting is definitely something I'd like to look into. But then, I consider it critical to filter this too. I don't think the simple bath/shower chlorine filters are really solving the problem because, as far as I can see, all the other toxic stuff is still in there! Or do these also remove pesticides, metals and in the case of rainwater sulphuric acid and nitrous oxides ? I suppose, from that point of view, reverse osmosis is the only way ? Any other thoughts ? Back to the H2O2 matter - is there any UK members out there with details of a bulk food grade supplier. I can't seem to find one that is affordable! Thanks gang, Re: hydrogen peroxide bath , We've put a house filter on the water coming into our house. Anyone know of a filter or other product that can be used for creating something like a bath of Reverse Osmosis water ?!? > > Now wouldn't that be nice - a bath of reverse osmosis water with added H2O2, epsom salts, sea salt, seaweed and unpasteurised apple cider vinegar!!! ) Hmmmm > >
Guest guest
Geez! How I would love to afford a shower faucet filter and all the recommended HP etc for a bath. I break out in red pimples every time I take a shower/bath, live in 12 story building with rusty pipes.....wish there was a " dose " I could pop in the water and get rid of all the crap but just trying to eat and supplement right until I can afford to address the situation. Question: My 5 yr. old daughter having trouble adjusting to temperature change.....we're in Toronto (lots of smog, granted) but we've gone from cold to hot and humid so fast here past few days. She's obviously having temp change transition problems...very red in face and very edgy and moody....any suggestions? She was previously diagnosed with " exercise asthma " and we used puffer for a period but I got her off it and do not want to get back into the asthma crap medication. She eats very well, lots of fruit veggies very very little meat. (Note: she's knee sensitive as I was as child and still am, if she over exercises knees or gets a chill or dampness in knees she's up all night with legaches. Really staving her from tylonol and advil since they both degenerate the joints......is it too early to start on glucosamine sulfate at this age? Advice?) I have a feeling she's not getting enough oxygen....what doses of HP would be ok for this age? Thank you in advance for any advice, Deanna Big thanks in advance for any response, Deanna
Guest guest
I have been reading about energized water. I checked some thur the web and they are about the same price as a water softener. They attach on your water pipes and I believe they are magnets. I am the one who has the cyst and used a magnet on it. I was really impressed at how fast it can shrink a cyst. They were saying that when this thing was used on the water that corn grew 18 feet high. They had referred back to pre flood times when we had more oxygen. It was very interesting. I learned about it while watching the Christian Broadcasting Network.....there was nothing on TV and I was channel cruising. Just do a search on energized water. The one I went to was www.creationevidence.com. Erma At 01:16 AM 5/4/01 -0400, you wrote: >Geez! How I would love to afford a shower faucet filter and all the >recommended HP etc for a bath. Guest guest
I spent over $500 for magnets on my water pipes to soften and energized my water. We live in a very hard water area and I found that the magnets did virtually nothing. The water left our hair and skine dull and " sticky " , our clothes dirty, etc. We tried this for around 12 months and it never got any better as the pipes " cleaned out " from having the magnets. I am now back on soft water, but only the hot water. Our cold is untreated. That was a LOT of money for me to spend and I feel like it was really a waste. Food for thought.
