Guest guest
Sue, I know what you mean about your dentist not referring to your child as DS. Our pediatrician has never refered to Myah as DS. As a matter of fact, I would sometimes wonder if her remembered and would ask something related to it! He's great and our family really appreciates how he treats her like a baby not a DS baby. the dentist > Hi, > I took all three wonglets to the dentist today (routine checks) and all > three had various problems (bens long standing). Guest guest
Hi Kathy, Here is a Joke that brings the money factor a little bit into focus. Sharon The Dentist A woman went to a dentist to have a tooth pulled and there was instant electricity between them, and they fell in love and began hugging and kissing right there in his office. She came back week after week after week and they continued their love affair, hugging and kissing over and over and over again. Until one day, he told her they'd have to end the affair, as beautiful as it was. She said "Why?" The dentist said "Because you only have one tooth left." Re: [ ] Re: Mineral Deficiency The only thing wrong in this reference is the mind numbing statement, flouride is good for the bones. JEEZ..what a crock Kathy
Guest guest
Hi Mitch, Your dentist is working for YOU. You are in charge of your health now and you can nicely tell them you don't use flouride so please don't give me any. Tell them before they use any material or do any procedure you need to know what it is so you can make informed decisions. Don't let them put any silver fillings or silver crowns in and no root canals. If a tooth needs a root canal it is a dead tooth and should be pulled. We really need to look at dentists like we do doctors. Most don't have our best interest in mind and they just want our money. Tammy In a message dated 1/17/2009 1:34:21 P.M. I know in the past I've always had a stomach ache after leaving. Has anyone experienced going to their dentist and had to tell them this? I'm wondering what the best way to go about it is. I know the second that you get there they give you some weird pink stuff to swish around in your mouth to check where you're missing. I don't even want to do that. Guest guest
Hi Mitch This reminds me of the last time I went to the dentist. The doctor walked in and so - oh, you! I should have known. Who else would refuse xrays for the third year in a row. hahah. I simply tell them no flouride. In my dentist office they ask since you actually have to pay for the flouride treatment. another good answer is, " next time " (one that never comes). good luck > > Now that I'm on the diet I don't want them using all their fluorides and such in my mouth. Since other members have helped you with this, I will just refer you to my article " How to Care for Your Teeth & Gums " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/teeth1.php I also learned recently that those sharp picks dentist use, can make holes in your teeth, so the dentist does a great deal of damage with that nasty pick; every tap is a hole in the tooth - tap, tap, tap!
