I agree with Kendra, don't rush things. is 14 months old and I still wake up several times during the night to check on her. Take care, We are thinking of you! Thanks to everyone that responded to at what time did you move your kids out of your room? I was all set to move this week- wedensday as a matter of fact. My husband was out of town and I thought okay good time to move him them if he cries all night or I have to sit in his room and watch him all night so be it- no one else is here. WELL............ Tuesday am he got his 2nd round of iminuzations and Tueday night we ended up in the ER with 105 temp and seizures........Since I just moved to TN I had no clue where a hospital was so my husband had to direct me via cell phone from Georgia. As he tries to get to the airport at 10:00 at night to get a flight home. They ended up admitting but luckily his fever dropped and he is getting back to normal- just still real fussy. Needless to say he hasnt has his DOC on for 3 days when I put it back on today he was real mad for the first hour but is better now. Now I am scared to move him out of our room because the only reason I knew something was wrong was because I was folding laundry on the bed in our room and he started to make this really odd noise so I looked in the crib and there he was stiff and not openning his eyes- I was scared to death. Hopefully my paranoia will decrease I need some sleep now I am convinced I have to keep him in our room unitl 6 months- after that round of immunizations. I am always nervous after immunizations but I never dreamed something like that would really happen. Thank goodness you are an attentive mom! I hope things are getting back to normal. I had never been more scared in my life! Thankfully I was a 5 minute drive from the Children's Hospital! There is nothing scarier than your child not responding to your desperate cries! ( Even tho Hanna didn't sleep in our room, after that I set up the playpen right beside our bed for a few days until she was all better (double ear infections). I couldn't stand the thought of me sleeping thru an episode if it should happen again - even tho I always kept the monitor beside the bed! You'll get the courage up again to move him, but don't rush it. Chin up!! On the sheets I get from the doctor they give you information on how to report any problems. If you want, I can dig around and see if I saved mine. Let me know! Take care. We put queen size beds in our kids rooms and I sleep in their rooms when I want and feel the need. Its better than the baby in the bed with your husband too. Just a suggestion. My hubby was in the Army so I know what it is like to be alone when a crisis erupts. You did such a good job. I think that you should do what is right for you & if keeping in your room works for you then that is what you should do. I can't imagine how scary of an experience that must have been!! I am glad that is feeling better and that he is now on the mend.
