Gang,

Hey - I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me if any of the

ingredients in my shaving lotion are carcinogenic - I use Skintastic

ingredients: Purified water, Palmitic Acid, Triethanolamine, n-Pentane,

Sorbitol, Sunflower Oil Monoglycerides, Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E USP),

ALoe Vera, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Isobutane, Fragance, FD & C Red #40.

The reason I ask - most products in lotions, creams etc have petroleum

products in them, methylparaben, and benzene and toluene. These are all known

irritants to those of us with autoimmune problems - yet when I went to several

" health food stores " and to Edgar Cayce's site - their products contain all of

these ingredients; i.e. petroleum products in them, methylparaben, and benzene

and toluene. SOOOO where does that leave one? you know? Oh and BTW - Kiss

My Face - which is supposedly a leading safe one - it has all these

ingredients - made my face sting.

So does anyone out there know of a website or a brand wherein lotions, oils

(castor, jasmine) that doesn't carry these ingredients.

Thanks,

Jeannine

Also the above was to inform all of you that these ingredients are harmful.

Any hair conditioner is a great replacement for shaving cream.  It softens the

hair and your skin!  I use an organic/all natural conditioner and it works

great!

+++Hi Mitch. Have you tried using a shaving brush and a mug like these:

http://www.nashvilleknifeshop.com/shavingbrushes.html

Then you can put any good natural soap in the mug, and use the brush to

lather it up and apply it. That's what my Dad used to use. Back then

our soap was homemade by my Mother.

For soap check out Wilderness Family Naturals on my website:
