Textured implants adhere to your tissue, so they are more dificult to

remove. i do not know why Dr's use these things since they are really

in my opinion bad. My explant took along time and involved scraping

the scar tissue and implant that was imbedded in my muscle and

against my ribcage. I don't want to scare you, but I am warning you

it is not an easy surgery to get them out. Dr feng took out mine and

she really had to work hard to get them out cause I had lots of scar

tissue, inflammation and the implants were just stuck in there. Make

sure you go to a great surgeon, cause I think some of them would

rather leave the scar tissue as it is easier on them, so be careful.

I would think you could sue that PS over the fact he didn't use the

ones you chose.

Good luck to you

Theresa,

I am up and down allot girl, and I am finding certain things trigger

flares, my diet for one thing, I ate some chocolate today and felt

like total crap, also working out I have to be careful cause if I

over do it I end up wiped out for a day or two. My ANA is what

terrifies me, I pray it will go down cause it is so high right now

that it is really indicative of a lupus diagnosis. I hate the fact

that I have had to give up so much and now the sun and tanning is

another thing I have to give up too! :( on the other hand I am

moving to Idaho where it snows half the year and everyone will be

pale too ha ha so I have to keep up a good attitude.

Love

Hi Patty,

I have decided to have my implants removed; My surgery date is August

8th. Dr. Feng has come highly recommended, so I will be going to her

in Ohio for the procedure. I am

anxious about the explant, but more afraid not to do it. It is a

tough decision and I feel like backing out on a daily basis. I know

this is the right decision for me and I plan to

follow through. Thank you for inquiring!

:)
