Guest guest Posted January 7, 2009 Report Share Posted January 7, 2009 Hi All, Just finishing my first batch, but the smell seems to be a little off, smelling kind of poo'ish (if that is a term!). Should rejuvelac have a strong odor, or be benign in smell. It is fermenting in a room temp environment, no salt added, water was boiled for 30mins, and the cabbage was not shredded to small. Thanks!
