Guest guest
Ok I am wondering if everyone is using stevia in their egg drink. I currently make it with decaf and no sweetener, but I would like to get off the decaf coffee. However, one time I made the egg drink with just water butter and eggs (I still don't tolerate coconut oil) and I hated it. I could force myself to drink it but I would hate to do it every day. I one of those that doesn't tolerate stevia. I am wondering what other people who can't use stevia do? Just drink it plain? Thanks, Irene At 07:44 PM 1/9/2009, you wrote: >just wanted to share that I started the egg drink yesterday and am >hooked! Guest guest
Hi Sara, I have never used stevia, i just use the eggs, butter, and coconut oil and I love the drink. You might want to work your way up to the coconut oil until you get used to it. edie @...: irene.m@...: Fri, 9 Jan 2009 21:54:05 -0800Subject: Re: [ ] Egg Drink & stevia Ok I am wondering if everyone is using stevia in their egg drink. I used to add stevia, but I haven't added anything but spices for years. You can make it taste better with some spices; experiment with them to see what you prefer, i.e. ginger, allspice, clove, etc. Bee

Would you please " trim your messages " - the instructions are posted on the group every 2 weeks. Thanks so much!
Guest guest
The one time I had the egg drink I thought it tasted good and I'm going to start using it more now and just let it cook in the boiled water a little longer. The cinnamon and nutmeg I added kept it " sweet " enough for me. But then again, I love cinnamon. I didn't add any stevia and it was good enough like that. Stevia does bother me sometimes so I rarely use it. ita

I feel like I'm getting a frothy drink from Starbucks, only healthier. >

My favorite is NuStevia in powder or liquid form.
Guest guest
-Bee & ; I had a terrible time making the chai drink. The taste was good. But the consistency was like a pop sickle. Any advice on how to make it better. Thanks,
Guest guest
I just made the egg drink as usual but instead of putting in just cinnamon and nutmeg, I added cardamon and allspice in the amounts recommended on the chai dessert recipe. Guest guest
I never put stevia in my egg drink... I've been playing around with the spices I do put in it though; haven't found quite the perfect blend. andra > of those that doesn't tolerate stevia. I *love* stevia clear by sweet leaf- I could drink it right out of the bottle! +++Hi Sara. I don't recommend any processed stevia. Instead buy the ground up stevia leaf, which is green and unprocessed. It is available in the US at Mountain Rose Herbs, Eugene, Oregon - here's the ad on my website for ordering: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/resource/mrh1.php Bee
