Nutiva I've bought was very creamy. Maybe you got a bad batch or something. See if you can return it. Bee

Good unrefined coconut oil is supposed to be hard when cooler than room temperature. Melt it and it will be the same as other good coconut oils. Guest guest
Hi and Bee, I'm a regular user of Nutiva coconut oil and have found that sometimes it is more smooth and buttery than others. The gallon I have right now is rather dry and flaky. It still tastes the same though. Sometimes I've found that if I let melt it and then it hardens back up the texture changes slighytly. I don't kow where you are located , but I'm in the US in the state of Missouri...we're in winter time right now and when I ordered this gallon of Nutiva CO it may have gotten very cold or nearly frozen during the shipping time it would have taken to get to me. I've wondered if extreme cold might change the texture. It's just a thought... Regardless....if you are questioning the quality of your Nutiva CO, please call or write to their customer service people and ask them why the textural difference. We often forget that customer service people are there for reasons such as this and they might appreciate knowing that you are concerned about their product. From my experience of them, they are a very quality conscious company and would want to know of your concerns and I'd bet they'll try to help you out. jackie > > > > Bee, > > > > I had been using Spectrum coconut oil and it was great. Guest guest
Is Tropical Traditions Gold Label coconut oil acceptable for this program? I hope so because I have 2 gallons of it. Nourishing Traditions website suggested it. Kathy > > Hi and Bee, > > I'm a regular user of Nutiva coconut oil and have found that sometimes > it is more smooth and buttery than others.
