I'm sure they are okay. If you are worried buy duplicates and alternate taking them. +++That's wonderful about your weight. Well done! If you are worried buy duplicates and alternate taking them. Thanks Bee! It seems like all of our supplements/foods end up getting zapped on some level. I'd imagine our coconut oil has to go through customs and whether it comes via the air or by sea, I'm sure they scan for danger threats? Geez! Sometimes the government makes it hard to eat clean, unadulterated foods! Hugs, G
Guest guest
Hi Genevieve, Welcome home! It must feel so good to be back and in control of your diet again. What on earth did you eat while you were traveling? My husband wants to take a vacation in the summer and while I would like to go, I'm dreading it because I am afraid I won't find anything to eat that is on the diet and I will undo all of my hard work. That's one of the things that is frustrating about being on this diet is that I feel tied to my kitchen. It's hard to go out for the day without packing some food. One time we were at a nice parade downtown and we wanted to stay and explore the city but we had to leave because we hadn't planned on it and I had nothing to eat. What do you or any others do in this situation? > > Hi everyone, > > It feels good to be home! Guest guest
This can be really hard! I almost always pack something- even if I think I wont need it: toss a hard boiled egg into my bag along with some water. I keep tea bags in my purse as well as a few stevia packets (a good cup of tea can often hold off the hunger as well as give me a 'treat'). I spent many weekends at home while my family went off to do fun things- but now I am better about planning. I usually bring a small container of salad dressing and can usually find a place to serve me a salad- sometimes with grilled chicken. We have been planning on going to an amusement park but I thought i couldn't due to the fact that they dont allow food (and it's an all day outing). I called though and explained my " allergies " and they are allowing me to bring my own food in- yay! I am still scared to make plans for a vacation though. I can handle the short outings with an occasional restaurant meal, but am scared of having to deal with it for a week (or even a full weekend!). -Sara

Like Sara said, it is always wise to be prepared. Even I go prepared with butter, salad dressing, sea salt and supplements whenever I go out. , may I please request that you " trim your messages? " Instructions were emailed to you when you joined, and they are also posted in the Group's Message every 2 weeks; I think there was one posted this week. You can search the Messages for them. I usually brings eggs and my supplements when I go out but the salad dressing, butter, and sea salt are something I should carry too. Thanks for the tip! > > , may I please request that you " trim your messages? I think I was just being overzealous in responding to the post and I actually realized that I forgot to trim as I pressed the send button but by then it was too late. I'll try not to let it happen again. >
