Guest guest
Of course Treva. Before the healing program our bodies and mind do not function well therefore our judgment is somewhat impaired. I have made major changes in my relationships, I had to let go many friends. I've been doing lots of spiritual healing as well ever since starting Bee's program so that has added alot to re-adjusting my priorities. I was fortunate enough to not be in an intimate relationship when I started this program, but I totally understand your frustration. There is much enlightenment that comes with healing and with that also comes lower tolerance for smaller minds. I am currently learning how not to help/fix everybody else, how to accept and respect their choices even if they make the wrong ones; it's hard, but it's do-able. But with healing and enlightenment the relationship with yourself keeps getting better and better, and I think this is the most important relationship of all. Guest guest
Hi Treva, I think when you get candida under control, it makes you think a lot more clearer, because you're not walking around in a fog like you used to. I know my thinking is a lot more clear lately. -- -----Original Message----- I wondering if people talk to you about how candida affects their relationships as much as their health? Yes getting healthy can affect relationships a lot. When you're sick you are more dependent financially and emotionally upon your partner. You also don't have the wherewithall to get into any issues, since you feel so sick physically. Once you are healthy, like others said, you see things more clearly, and you aren't as dependent. Some partners actually like having the " other one " sick and more dependent. This will cause conflicts while you are working hard to become healthy, and afterward when you are strong emotionally, mentally and physically. They will " put you down, " call you names like " food fanatic, " and fight and ridicule you, putting roadblocks in your way whenever possible. I also think you gain more respect for yourself when you've had to work so yard to get healthy, so you will naturally want to be treated with the same respect you have for yourself. And now you are more able to deal with issues too. I hope that helps. Luv, Bee
Guest guest
I just wanted to share that at first when I started the diet, my relationship was getting worse and worse: which is terrible when you are going through a ton of die-off and you just want to get healthy. Now that I am feeling better, my relationship is better than ever. It is hard to be a good partner when you are not well. It is hard to be a good partner when you have to focus 100% on your own health and well-being. Eventually, for me, as I got better, I could spread more of my attention back to my family (and thank them for putting up with me during my healing). It is a journey for all of us, but one that must be traveled. -Sara

Guest guest
Treva, I have found that sometimes it is the simple fact that your mind and body are going through some real changes. You are focused so much on what you eat, supplements, etc. Most of which is new. You feel good, you feel bad...both physically and mentally. When we have a lot on our minds, we can become easily irritated with others and have short tempers. I found this to be true with my current boyfriend. When I started the program he was very critical. I was already under a lot of stress trying to figure out how to help myself and he did bother me and we had a fight. But...in retrospect...it was both of us! I was tired, irritable, and consumed with helping myself. He didn't understand what i was doing and...as men do...wanted to fix it and felt he couldn't. That left him feeling frustrated as well. Now, after almost 9 months of learning the program...and learning how to step back and look at the issues he and i have..things are better. I say, express to him what you are going through. Changing your lifestyle, such as this program does, sounds " simple " , but I have found it to be one of the most difficult times of my life. And those that love us will try to help and support us. Hope all is well- Amy
