I drink mine in the morning while I get ready... taking maybe 15 minutes? If made the night before > would it be ok in the morning for breakfast. Also can it be reheated? *** I've had problems reheating the drink because the eggs get a custardy consistency that I don't enjoy drinking. But it is made so quickly, it takes about 3 minutes to make that I think you could find it just as easy to make it before you want to drink it if you want it warm. If you like it cool, you could let it sit til it cools off. If it gets cold, the fats will solidify. > as surely when it cools down the butter and CO will solidify wouldn't > it? *** that's right. > If less eggs and butter were used would less water have to be used?if > so what ratio. It's so adjustable. It's really a matter of what tastes good to you and how much of the anti-fungals (butter/coconut oil/eggs) you have worked up to. > Thanks Dudley. Enjoy! Guest guest
Hello Dudley, Sorry if this question has already been answered... but I've made it, not finished it, put it in the fridge and then had the rest almost 24 hours after I first made it. I suffered no ill effects and there was no off taste or smell. andra > I have just copied the egg drink recipe,But can't find anything to say > over what period of time would this be Drank. If made the night before > would it be ok in the morning for breakfast. Guest guest
Dudley, I make up three at a time and drink them over the next two to three days - It really saves time for me. Have never had a problem with that and I'm not concerned as the hot water lightly cooks the egg thus extending refrigerator shelf life.
