since I will be getting too much D. I should get some extra A from a

fish source (is this a good source:

3 supplements only in the summer.

+++Hi . Vitamin D is not taken in the Summer IF/when you

get enough sun exposure, explained in that article above. You

require Omega 3 and Vitamin A all of the time.

Your product certainly causes dosage problems. Yes you should only

take 2 mls of it, and you will need a fish oil that contains only

Omega 3 (EPA & DHA) and also vitamin A from a fish " liver " oil that

doesn't contain vitamin D like halibut, cod or shark.

Hello again, Bee.

Do you have any brand recommendation for the Omega 3 and the vitamin A?

As per your article, I could go back to the non-fermented CLO from

Green pasture (but I heard they do not make High-vitamin CLO anymore,

do you know if this is true?) and the vitamin A, no need for

additional EPA and DHA, right?

Can I ask you again what you take (brand and amount) since we live in

similar climatic conditions?

Thank you so much, Bee!

+++Hi . So you are getting enough sun exposure every day,

so you only need Omega 3 and vitamin A?

+++Yes, I heard that too; try Radiant Life or Dr. Ron's Ultra Pure -

they are in that same CLO Nutrient Levels Article.

+++I take 2 tbls. of Garden of Life brand Lemon Flavoured Cod Liver

Oil, which contains all 3 nutrients (Omega 3, and Vitamins A & D)

since it is Winter here.

+++If you only need Omega 3 and vitamin A, buy Nordic Naturals Fish

Oil for Omega 3, and buy vitamin A in a capsule from liver oils, i.e.

halibut, cod or shark. However, it is getting more and more

difficult to find oil soluble supplements that do not contain soy.

+++NOW brand Shark Liver Oil with only Vit. A., available at

www.vitaglo.com

Hi Bee, does the Garden of Life brand lemon flavored cod liver oil just have

a lemony oil taste? Does it taste " fishy " at all? I was just wondering, as I

use Carlson's lemon flavored cod liver oil, and it has no fishy taste

whatsoever, but I was thinking of trying a different one, in case it's less

expensive.

Thank you,

,

There seems to be many brands that have a lemon flavor (Garden of life

seems to be making only the lemon-mint flavor now). Here is what I

found on iherb.com:

http://www.iherb.com/Search.aspx?kw=cold%20liver%20oil%20lemon%20flavor

We would probably have to do the maths for each of the brand, but

there is a significant price difference and I was wondering if someone

already compared them all. Ideally, I would like to now have to take

extra A and extra Omega-3, just so it's less supplements to take and

to buy, but 2 tablespoon of cod liver oil is a lot to get into myself

without gagging!

Thanks for your input!

+++Hi . I don't find Garden of Life CLO taste fishy at all.

It's the only one they produce.

+++, here's my detailed analysis of many cod liver oil

brands: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cod2.php

++++ There is a comparison sheet already on Bee's website. Just search cod

liver oil and

you'll find it. It shows the dosing of different brands: some you have to take

a Tablespoon

others you can take a teaspoon, and some need more Vit A supplementation than

others.

You can see from the list that some brands will lst longer than others because

you can take

less of them.
