+++Hi . Welcome to our group. I don't know how many good

bacteria are in it, but if you take the amount recommended it is enough

to help your body implant probiotics, without supplementing with any

other probiotics.

+++I found about 6 different strains, but I don't have my files here

since moving in May. The strains are mostly lactobacillus varieties.

+++On my program you would only add taking probiotics as the last step.

Hello, is your name Debra? We like to go by first names here, to keep everyone

straight, and it's hard to remember people by their email address.

Bee is currently re-writing her Candida program, and has removed probiotics as

her research has indicated they are no longer necessary.

Please see message #82371 which discusses this.

For suggestions on how to improve digestion, see this article:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig3.php

It's not necessary to have a bowel movement every day. Some people, myself

included, are on a more 2-day schedule, and this is completely healthy.

Hope that helps!

Been feeling the need to amp up my probiotics and was researching Bee's

site for her recommendations. Cabbage rejuvelac topped her list. But the link

from her recipe list leads to a page that cannot be found. Could someone please

post a good recipe for cabbage rejuvelac, along with how much to consume on a

daily basis in order to amp up probiotics? (I think I need a lot because I've

had extremely sluggish bowels lately and am about ready to do Bee's 9-day

program.) Thanks!

Yes, andra, my name is Debra. I'll try to remember signing from now on.

It will be interesting to hear what Bee says about probiotics because I was

under the assumption that good bacteria was necessary to combat bad bacteria of

candida.

I reviewed the article you referred me to. Aside from sauerkraut, I guess

there's not much of anything else I can do. I don't get any acid, upset

stomach, or sense of fullness from eating, so I guess hcl isn't really

necessary.

It's not that I'm concerned about having more frequent bowel movements. It's

just that I'm not completely voiding when I do go. No nice big waves of

peristalsis are kicking in to move everything out. It's more like small

strings, and then I can sort of feel stuff sloshing around in there. It's very

frustrating -- enough to make me consume some oat bran or something in order to

add bulk back into my diet.

For the time being, I'm on the first day of Bee's 9-day program, per her

recommendation. Beyond that, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to keep

up with this program if my bowels do not normalize. I understand from many

low-carbers that lack of bowel movements is a constant problem. And while

healthy bowel ecology is the entire reason I'm trying to eliminate

parasites/mercury/candida, and it hasn't been great for years, I have noticed

that since I started low-carbing around the beginning of the year, my bowel

movements have gone from irregular but sort of ok, to practically non-existent.

I'll keep at it for the next 9 days and see how it goes (or doesn't, as the case

may be).

+++Hi Debra. andra gave you the Message #82371 on our group that you can

search and find on our Group's Website, which explains why I don't recommend

taking probiotics.

+++Fibre is actually very damaging to the intestines - see these articles:

+++Consuming fibre is another one of those scams started by the food industry in

order to sell wheat germ and bran they removed from grains.

+++The reason most low-carbers lack proper bowel movements is because they don't

eat enough protein and good fats.

Hello Debra,

Bee addressed your concerns regarding probiotics and fiber; I just wanted to

check back with you since I know how it feels to have digestive issues. Believe

me - this is the primary way my body likes to heal itself, and I'm currently in

the midst of another healing crisis!

>>It's not that I'm concerned about having more frequent bowel movements. It's

just that I'm not completely voiding when I do go. No nice big waves of

I know how frustrating this is, having experienced it myself. I have found that

increasing my fat has been really helpful. However, if you're new to the diet

you will probably want to go slow increasing fats, since they will increase your

healing reactions as well. Please note that if you have experienced this before

going on the diet, you may also retrace it while on the diet; this doesn't mean

you have stopped your progress!

Fiber is bad for the body and unnecessary for healthy digestion. It may take a

while to get the fat ratios up, and for our retracing to complete, but we will

come out the other side with wonderful digestion :) LOL!

Be well,
