Guest guest
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/610955.html Bee, I found this GREAT article which explains this underdiagnosed condition, so I'll save you some research time. Marina only noticed the symptoms after beginning Primal Defense, so she's going back to Lactobacillus Acidophilus only as you suggest! Lactobacillus overgrowth was first only written about in 1982. 95% of women's related problems come from too LITTLE lactobacillus, which is the cause of bacterial vaginosis. Somehow, the Primal Defense (or something else coincedentally) caused Marina to have too MUCH. Her doctor's statement that it's due to her " weak immune system " is just a little too vague for me. We're throwing away the prescription for antibiotics, and Marina will do the sodium bicarbonate Sitz Baths as recommended in the article I posted. I'm just writing about this because some women may suffer from discharge and itching and not get the proper diagnosis from their doctor. The treatment is very easy and fast, and 100% of the women in the test group remained symptom-free 18 months after treatment! Doug
