Guest guest
The copy of the scans of Hope that we saw were on letter size paper (A4 for the Brits!). If you can find an HP scanner to use, I know that the software on those has different settings you can use, depending on what you are scanning in, including one for black and white photos, which would probably do the trick with the scans. If you dont have a scanner yourself or access to one, then you could try going to somewhere like Rymans or another print shop and seeing if they do it. They could put the resulting files on a CD ROM or floppy for you and then you could simply attach them to an email to the hospital. Hope you find a way, Kimberley (Hope and Evan's Mummy) > Ann: > I'm not sure that this is possible. The scans are fairly large, aren't they? If they are small enough, you will have to find a scanner that is able to scan negatives/slides. > Couldn't you use an overnight courier service? > Kendra in Canada > For more plagio info, go to > www.plagiocephaly.org/support > ----- Original Message ----- > From: oughton@a... > Plagiocephaly@y... > Sent: Tuesday, April 10, 2001 12:45 PM > Subject: Re: scanning scans and x-rays > > > Hello > > Ann and BOO from the UK > > Can anyone tell me how to scan CT and X-rays onto the computer and what do > you need > > A hosp in the USA will look at Boo's scans>It will take over a week airmail > so thought computer would be better > > Ann and BOO > >
