Guest guest
Hi Bee, My sister and I are wondering something. Back in August, my dad (who had a quadruple by-pass in 2003) was scheduled for angioplasty (the balloon to open up arteries in the heart) because they noticed the blockage came back. So, he gets to his appointment on Friday, they do a CT scan of his heart to find out exactly where the blockage and find nothing. There is no blockage, the arteries look smooth, even the vein graphs are smooth. Now, the angioplasty is no longer necessary. The only changes my mother has made in their diet is switching from margarine to unsalted butter and using coconut oil instead of other vegetable oils for cooking. They are both planning on going on your program, but they are doing it veeeery slowly. My dad is lover of bread and potatoes. Our question: Is it possible that the blockage problem could have resolved itself so quickly with such minimal changes to his diet? It just seems so weird that without any other changes, he could have such a recovery. What do you think? Thanks,
