I'm over 3 weeks now, taking a super probiotic and conforming to the

anti-candida diet as much as I can (not completely).

thanks,

Try to get a prescription for Diflucan. You may need more than one dose

though...usually one and then wait a few days and take another. That has helped

for me!

Good luck.

Hi Ellen,

It took about 3 months for my thrush to go away with a slow intake of noni and

later

adding in samento. I was also on a anti candida diet and taking probiotics. I

am anti-

biotic free; I build up tongue coating when I stray from my anti-candida diet.

hope this helps :)

I agree with Jackie. Probiotics and the anti-candida diet can help,

but you are fighting a losing battle because any abx you're taking are

counteracting everything the probiotics & anti-candida diet are doing

for you. I took Diflucan (1oo mg) daily for a month a couple of times

to get the yeast out of my body.

I still take probiotics in the hope that my digestion won't get too

messed up. They do help, although I always notice improvement when I

go off abx and onto Diflucan for a while.

Hi,

I haven't taken any antibiotic since May 30. That's why I was

surprised when I got this thrush the beginnng of July.

I am going to get a prescripton filled this morning for liquid

Nyastin. One doctor had told me that if I did nothing the thrush would

disappear in a week.

Clearly he was wrong.

That is what I was hoping for. I don't like to take medicine, I often

have very bad reactions. But the Nyastin mothwash should be safe since

it is internal.

I will gargle with it, the & ^^)#$ thrush is in my throat too.

thanks everyone for your advice.

it is much better than the doctor's.

And you don't charge me!
