Our little one also had tons of Bismuth which is found most commonly in make

up and Pepto Bismal. Ours was probably poisoned in utero by her mother's

daily make up use. Some people/kids hold onto Bismuth.

The good news is Bismuth is very easily chelated out with small frequent

doses of dmsa.

I'm totally clueless on this subject. I know bismuth is in Pepto,

but what exactly is it? Is it harmful? I had a stomach ache the

other day and almost took Pepto, but decided against it because I'm

nursing. Could it be harmful if taken while nursing?
