Re: Need an Immune Booster... anyone????

Trish,

If you look in the files section the Viral file has some immune

boosters listed. The file needs updating and doesn't include

Epicor, which is supposed to be an immune modulator. I have my DS

and DH on it. DH has been on IV antibiotics for the majority of the

last 3 weeks and is basically incapacitated. He falls sick at the

drop of a hat under normal conditions. Miraculously, he hasn't

fallen sick during this time although he cannot have a single

friendly bacteria left in his body. This may be because of the

Epicor because I sincerely doubt it is good luck, at this point.

Epicor seems expensive, but you take only one a day. Others on the

list in the viral file are probably much easier to get hold of at a

HFS.

Aw, that's no good. Glad the Epicor is working for him though.

Oh no... We just completed a one-month round of Cipro for my son's bad

gut bacteria. I had no idea Cipro was so bad and I guess my DAN doc

didn't either. Sigh. Well I guess it's too late now :-( Ds has

actually shown a lot of improvements in the last month though. I

didn't see anything really nasty behaviorally except some

yeast-related stuff that subsided with GSE. I hope we got lucky

somehow and avoided any serious damage.... I have noticed the last

few weeks that ds has a slight yellow tinge to his skin, I wonder if

the Cipro pushed his liver over the edge. Guess we better run some

liver tests.

It also contains ALA.

I used colostrum, astralagus root, vitamin C, for immune boosters.

Vitamin A is also good, altho my son was fully loaded at the time I

was addressing his immune system. Then I used OLE and Virastop as

anti-virals.

Try coconut oil. It is a food, readily available, wholly natural, and

if you buy the expeller pressed then unlike the organic has not taste

or odor. We use it anywhere a fat is needed in cooking and our family

of five has had about 80% fewer colds the last couple of years. It is

known to fight viruses, bacteria, and fungi.
