My Ra do told me that fibro and mps would cause my temp to go up and down,

has to do with the neurological dealings.

I never considered this part of my FM, but I do encounter the exact

same thing, seems like at least every 10 days or once a week. I

thought perhaps it was caused by something else completely, but I can

identify precisely!!

Thank you, once again, for shedding some light on another corner of

this disease!

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list

as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your

dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well

as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.

2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't

be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that

situation better.

3. To unsubscribe the e-mail is:

Fibromyalgia_Support_Group-unsubscribe

4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at

the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take

something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things

that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even

though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple

illnesses try to keep a sense of humor.

5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls

let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support.

Have a nice day everyone.

My thermostat is totally out of whack. I wish I could get it adjusted. Then

on top of this menopause did not help it! I also live in a very humid area and

that is horrendous to me. My body temp has always run very low.

I believe I've had Fibro since I was a kid, but at 34 when the symptoms went

out of control following 3 major surgeries within a 15 hr. period I began

have the recurring swollen glands and temps, etc. I believe that I suffered from

CFS as well as Fibro for a long time then. A couple yrs. at least. Then it

just settled into a full blown Fibro.

I still get very hot and very cold. I hate it! I can deal with the cold but

not the hot.

Yes, it's VERY common with most of us. I am always adjusting the thermostat and

pulling clothing on and off. I'm seldom comfortable. I do, however run temps. I

don't feel better or worse depending on my body temps, however. Mine fluctuate

between 97.2 and 99.9 It's even gone higher or lower on occassion. It makes no

real sense. I also get swollen glands in various parts of my body that only last

for a day or two. Those are often painful. To the best of my knowledge these

last symptoms are from the CFS, but the too hot or cold feelings are just part

of the FM. It is just all so often toooo confusing!! However, I do know that

many people here suffer these same things.

Hi, I have all those things too. The temperatures drive me crazy and the flu

symptoms. Almost always too hot or too cold - mostly too hot.
