But over the past year while on Arava, I had it so bad I was throwing up. I have Prilosec when it gets bad. I don't take it everyday, only when I need it. It has been since December that I got sick bcs of it. That was awful! ~
Guest guest Report post Posted April 28, 2000 Hi , Don't mean to butt in like this, but GERD is gastro-espohagus (sp?) reflux disease (basically acid reflux). I did not realize that this could be a part of Sjogren's! Interesting! Do you suffer from this then? Hugs, Sandy Hi , What is GERD? I read that with Sjogren's you can have it but not even realize it bcs the symptoms aren't bothersome enough to notice them. I asked my doc at one point about that and he said that SS just goes along with RA sometimes. I am beginning to think EVERYTHING goes along with having RA! ~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get paid for the stuff you know! Guest guest Report post Posted November 16, 2000 a, I am so sorry to hear about 's tripping incident. Sounds like a few of my mishaps as a teen. My Mom tried and tried to get 'my limitations' clear to me, but I always pushed and it wasn't until I was about 27 that I started to listen to my Mom AND myself! My Mom was always 'there' for me, in everything.Reassuring me I wasn't a geek, pushing me out the door to school, etc. Fortunately when I was 14 I was riding alot and just going to SEE the horses made me happier. So sometimes mid-week we drove out to the stables. Another really neat thing my Mom did was get tickets to all kinds of plays and she took me to them. I really liked that. I guess that all was a 'diversion' tacit of sorts, but it did help me during rough times. ~ Gretchen

Guest guest Report post Posted September 17, 2006 Have moved to TorC, NM to escape the mold on the east coast, to find the worst rain in 100 years- county declared a disaster area- mold plumes everywhere, house untenable -has stopped raining now- and hope after the spoalation is over- I may be able to live here-I get sick so fast from the smallest amount of mold- have been trying to buy a safe travel trailer- expensive and they probably leak. > without > > your input, I would see no way out.
