I went on the Oprah site and gave them an idea for there show. It was

really easy!

Here is what I wrote.....

Dear Oprah,

How are you? My name is Sharon . I have a very rare disease

that I share with 1 out of 100,000 other people. It is called Still's

Disease. I am now 34 and I was 30 when I was diagnosed. I belong to a

wonderful support group. I have not participated much because I have

had 3 surgeries in 3 years due to my condition. Many Still's patients

also have other immune disorders. I also have Asthma, Rheumatoid

Arthritis (since I was 11), Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Sinusitis. We

also have people in our group with serious problems with major organs,

(liver, kidneys, heart, spleen). We suffer from terrible bouts of

depression and anxiety. I am truly inspired by my Still's family. We

all suffer so much but unconditionally love one another no matter how

often or how not often we post each other. We have a wonderful

website www.stillsdisease.org. Still's was mentioned on the show

House ! We were all so happy! It is so frustrating to here " What is

Still's? " from almost every doctor, family member, and friends. We

really need the public to be aware of our condition. We have lost

jobs and sometimes friends because people just don't understand how

serious Still's is. Many of us can not work and get turned down for

SSI, Disability, and state funded health insurance. We are mothers,

fathers, grandparents and children. I have seen your show many times.

I have seen you cry, out of compassion and respect of your guests.

You have a wonderful way of putting yourself in someone elses shoes.

I have felt so hopeless and depressed from all that I am dealing with

and I know there are people with Still's who have it much worse than me.

I was wondering if you would please consider having some of us

on your show. It would be great to educate others and put Still's on
