---hi

you can rackle this from a variety of ways and see which one works

well a realy close look at your diet and nutrition

the right amount of protein minerals vitamins in easily digetable

form many people dont have a clue on this one.

fresher the better

not canned

not microwaved

avoiding food additives preservatives --natural foods

no e numbers

and plenty opf water

then there is a detox regime when was the last time you had one

and then checking your glands for proper functioning

and checking your spine for misalgnemnts lesions etc etc

that is just the physical side

then there is big aspects like

where you live the work you do the people around you etc etc

the amount of love in your life

all these are major factors

unless oyu know which one is the culprit you will have to look at

each one individualy

you cna e mail me pho@...

so study nutrition first

Hello Francesca,

Is there a local hospital you could contact and ask them if they can

refer you to a Doctor (if there is one)that treats ME/CFIDS/FIBRO? I

was in the same situation and basically went untreated for some time

while I did some natural cleansing and natural remedie options to no

avail.

Who diagnosed you? Do they have any recommendations for follow up

treatment? Obviously if you have Dr's that dont believe in the

illness, they can't help you. Like you, fatigue is one of my major

complaints as I still don't know where that line is when I make myself

worse from doing little to nothing. You definately need to plug into

someone that believes and is knowlegeable of the disease and any

office you need to make sure of that fact before you go. Perhaps if

you tell us where you are located roughly, you might find someone else

in your area that can better direct you. I did, in fact was the place

I called first but they were too far and I would be a mess trying to

go that far....I do know some of my limitations.

All anyone can do is treat symptoms basically. I have yet to find

anything for the " fog, memory loss etc " One of the most basic meds

they start you on is antidepressant but after that your dealing with

symptoms and options to relieve those symptoms. Most here will be

happy to tell you what has worked for them on a specific symptom if

they know of one and is basically what this board is all about.

I'd like to welcome you and also say I am sorry that you have to be

here at the same time.

God Bless,

/Dutchie

Hello Francesca,

Welcome to the group. Are you open to alternative therapies or are

you looking (wishing?)for a doctor to help you?

HI I have been lurking for a while and over the last 3 months things

have come together as my husband has fibro and his brother has CFS and a

niece and grand niece have celiac ( gluten intolerance) (wheat rye etc.)

I now feel the fibro and the CFS were the end result of untreated celiac

as celiac is under diagnosed in this country. The diet is easy but must

be done 100% to allow the gut to heal this could take up to 6 months

than the body will need 6 months or so to correct the fibro Please try

it the carbs are replaced with corn or rice so no carb deprivation

Hi Sharon:

I can't eat like I used to, good thing cause I am over weight. But I can only

eat small meals as otherwise it makes the pain in my sides etc worse. Some days

I can hardly lift a finger, let alone an arm, very weak, very heavy feeling. I

think the things you are describing are typical symptoms. There are many things

that folks are trying, and everyone is different. I haven't found much that

helps other then the pain meds and giving in and resting, even for days. That's

the hardest part, accepting it, and letting your body rest when it says I need

it. Good Luck in your search.
